Please update. This is so good and chapter 42 ended on a massive cliffhanger. My fav Hermione/Lucius fic. The plot was original and amazing.

I find it hard to stop reading now... I've been reading it for 5 hr staight now...it's so good...!

Sunday, July the 5th. This is by far the best fanfiction I have ever read, so properly put together and throughly enjoyable. I have read it from the start during the past few days, not knowing it wasn't finished. I have many comments, but I guess the important one is: I Hope you're well and you get to finish your story. If you do, please, make it a happy ending. The thought of Lucius and Hermione not living happily ever after is heartbreaking.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ABANDONED US LIKE THAT WTF WTF

You may not remember me but I really enjoyed reading this story when it first started. Unfortunately, I kind got side-tracked by another fandom (ASOIAF) and haven't read any HP for almost a year and a half. However, last night I read this from the beginning and a warm feeling overcame ... memories of spending lectures day-dreaming about this fic (and Jason Issacs ... but let's ignore that!) and submitting too long reviews, haha. I'm so glad I did, I'm gradually re-reading my favourite Lucius/Hermione fics and reading some new ones too but I couldn't leave without a review. As I've always said, I think what makes this my favourite story for this pairing and for HP tbh is how in-character it is. I'm a cursed multi-shipper who tends to love enemy to lover pairings but it's so difficult to find stories that actually have the 'enemy' grow naturally and for the heroine to maintain her principles. You've done that wonderfully: Hermione grows to adopt more well-rounded views without compromising her beliefs and Lucius is painted in a more sympathetic but still fear-mongering light. His concerns are real, but he is now willing to consider more humane methods to maintain Wizarding traditions. I absolutely adore the relationship you have set up and Lucius' confession made me squeal ... oh, to have a hard-hearted man struggle to tell you how much you mean to him! I cannot wait to see how their relationship unfolds in the post-war era: will Harry react as he initially had? How will the Order react to Lucius 'I killed a bunch of my colleagues and aided you multiple times' Malfoy turning a new leaf? What of Narcissa? These questions are constantly on my mind as I write this review and I cannot wait to see how you answer them. As always, thank you for this wonderful story!

Woow.. I'm literally speechless. This is one of the best lumione fic I ever read. Can't wait to see them being together in peace after all they've been through. I love the way you wrote about their passionate love. It's just so utterly beautiful.

Gasp! I didn’t realize this is a WIP. What’s going to happen?! You’re a way better storyteller than I am! Does L take curse for H, and N sees, and D pretends H is his girlfriend to protect both his parents? Does L die and H live broken-hearted forever? Does nasty D learn to love H in L’s absence? No way. Does N get killed and clear the way for their postwar relationship? I doubt it. Does N divulge her own lover, Snape, and let L live with his? I can’t see H ever settling for being secret mistress, despite her love and devotion of L. Does L betray H in the end, and Harry abandon her when he learns all of this, and she leaves for the muggle world? I just don’t see the way thru. But you do. Can you drop a teeny tiny outline to ease my heart? Regardless, I hope you and your family are well during these crazy times. With appreciation from San Diego...
