Ok, had been majorly distracted recently to read but now i finally had time to read and binged up to this overnight. Whew. Ok, well was wondering when the conclusion of RTTE was gonna make its way to the Dragon Boarder series. I'm curious how you intend on going about this. You planning on having the final season within one final addition the Dragon Boarder series or will it be perhaps a two-part like one of your previous ones? Do you intend on continuing til the end of RTTE and call it quits then (I know you mentioned sometime ago you were kinda done with it and wanted to move to other things which is cool) I was just curious is all since this kinda feels like "Empire Strikes back" where it builds up to the events of the "final" showdown.

Side note: I'm getting some vibes regarding some details revolving around Wasatch this chapter. Either, like Matt said, he's becoming a titanwing, or perhaps he's becoming something...else. Sure, he's a scary-ASF skrill but with those dragons being frightened like they were? I'm getting vibes that suggest it isn't simply because he's an angry skrill. And if I'm right *GASP* what does this mean for the future?! 0-o

Well well well, I see we've got a doozie ahead of us right here and it's barely the 1st chapter (can't say I'm surprised, this series has been stupendous to read). I've taken my time off and gotten mentally prepared (ish) for this final stretch. I might review in the following chapters or I might just straight-up binge it and review last chap...i don't know yet.

It's been so long since you've updated! Glad to see you're back, old friend. A bit short, but still a good update here. Practically began the last season of Race to the Edge right here. Which speaking of, we are clearly starting the race for the completed lens and the enemy is already ahead with three. Not only that, but we also found out who it was that made the bounty. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I love this story. I think it's the only RTTE fic that displays a romance with Heather and an OC. There is another, but it's hopelessly bland. Your diversions from Canon and all your extra characters like Ukiah, Strogg, Zekir, and Darien really add spice to this story. I really hope you continue soon.

Zekir fighting King reminded me of how Stoick first tried to train Thornado, but way more intense. Now that they bonded I can't wait to see how the riders react not only to Krogan's dragon flyers but also Zekir riding a Shadow Wing. Though he probably should keep a secret so as to wait for the opportune moment to reveal his ace in the hole.

I agree as I've also heard the news. One of my questions is if that white night fury is an unusual color or if all female night furies are white. Is she the last female? And in the poster is that a pack of night furies flying behind Hiccup?

The one thing I don't like is that they're getting rid of the letter 3 and subtitling it The Hidden World. It doesn't make any sense since you put a letter 2 in the title of the second film to show chronological order. I really hope they fixed this. By the way Hiccup's new armor is super cool looking.

This chapter was great and I can see you're working to get to the point where Mala, Dagur and Atali have their historic meeting at Caldera Cay. I can see you plan to include dragon flyer battles since you wrote Darien gathering Singetails and what not. Boy that'll really piss Matt off and send him into a rage. You know I just noticed he's starting to display the same temperament as his Skrills Wasatch and Teton.

As for the whole traitor among them everyone seemed to be pretty chill about it, but then again Ukiah is now playing bodyguard to Hiccup and isn't gonna let him out of his sight. Gonna make it pretty difficult for Johann to get the drop on him. Also going to ruin any chances of him getting alone time with Astrid (I'm not sure if Ukiah considers her a suspect or not) until this whole mess is taken care of. Or Astrid might suggest they put aside their love life for the time being until peace is restored, with Hiccup questioning if they'll ever have peace with people coming after them or their dragons. They defeat one enemy and somehow two more stronger ones arrive to take their place. Where does it end? Can any of them be happy being dragon riders if they're constantly fighting for the rest of their lives. It's not something he wants for any of them or for Matt who gave up his life to stay here with them.

Sorry I got really deep there and rambled on. Maybe you can use this at some point, or save it for that time when Stoick gets severely injured and Hiccup starts contemplating all his life choices.

I eagerly await new chapters cause I'm ready to see these characters finish Race to the Edge and move onto the second movie.

Ooo things are getting good now. Ukiah's lucky that he was able to tap into his ancestor's power otherwise Krogan could have killed him. Though that power kind of power makes him a little too OP and makes the playing field less than even. I wonder if Ukiah will find Hiccup and the others at the island or if those bounty hunters will tell them about where to find the person who placed the bounty and the riders will head for that place immediately. And when he does reach them the moment he tells them about the vision and the thief trying to steal the dragon eye 2 he gonna make them want to pull their hair out with frustration as they have two more things to worry about in addition to the two they already have. 1) Finding where Darien and Zekir are and killing them, 2) Figuring out who placed the two bounties, 3) Discovering who the thief is and why he wanted the dragon eye (Ukiah know the person he fought wasn't Zekir), 4) Figuring out who the traitor is in Ukiah's vision before he tries to kill Hiccup (since he saw the person attempting to kill Hiccup with a knife so maybe they'll suspect its Dagur, making Heather outraged at the assumption). The riders can't discount or ignore his vision since the last one he had about being on the battlefield came to pass. Though I bet they wish they could since one of their friends turning out to be a traitor may either make Matt's heart break or boil with rage. This new information not only will put a damper on their hope that they can fight this coming threat while also putting strain on whether they can trust one another with a traitor in their midst. Wonder if Hiccup and Matt can stay optimistic once they get Ukiah's news. Like things just keep getting tougher and more difficult for them and that maybe they'll eventually reach a point where they won't win. That these enemies, known and unknown are getting the upper hand on them and their plan whatever its may just succeeds, when they're still stumbling around in the dark like a blind man without a clue. Though Hiccup may tell Matt that he doesn't know what the future holds, they all they can do is do their best and hope for the best. And in end if they lose then they'll go down fighting together, with Matt replying that while comforting he still hopes they end up winning. Just a small pessimistic moment I thought of should Matt become angered and disillusioned after hearing what Ukiah has to tell them.

Well I think that sums everything up quite nicely and put things in perspective.

Also Ukiah is a little to blame for Arrow getting hit since he brought the sand wraith into this dangerous adventure when he's still too young to be ridden. And if he doesn't have a rider than he's especially vulnerable.
