LyricsBehindTheMusic chapter 5 . 7/21 Blaine, or Mr Blaine, reminds me a little bit of Edward Ferrars. Although Edward was the first son of the family and Blaine is the second, but their demeanor is the same. Very admiable. ;-) |
LyricsBehindTheMusic chapter 1 . 7/21 This is really a great idea for a story. I've never really seen Downton Abbey, only bits and pieces, but the setting is great. I am very much into Jane Austen, so I totally love this too. If you like Glee in a historic setting, especially England, you should read "Glee and Glory - A regency romance" by Miss Carmilla". Glee in Jane Austen style - it's really good. But I must say the sentence "The winds will bring significant changes..." gives off a little bit of a "Mary Poppins" vibe. And actually, the way you did the prologue, too. I really like it. I'm ready to dive into historic times. ;-) |
Nightingale63 chapter 23 . 11/24/2019 Sugar doesn't disappoint, and the Dowager Countess' comments are so fun, and well written! Good work on the India posting; I'm betting you did some homework there. |
Nightingale63 chapter 22 . 11/24/2019 I liked that we saw a bit of Kitty, this time in a more human light. Poor Tina - always after Blaine, and him not able to reciprocate. I do like her here. And of course, grandmama is wonderful. Sugar's funny here, as always. I'm thinking, not a serious contender. |
Nightingale63 chapter 21 . 11/17/2019 Excellent. Tense, yes; but when it comes to allies one Dowager Countess is worth a half dozen Sebastians and Santanas. Not to mention Finn and Rachel, who I think would be on their side. Ah well, not like we'd expect Sebastian to give up easily. |
Nightingale63 chapter 20 . 11/15/2019 I love the dowager Countess! Well done! |
Nightingale63 chapter 19 . 11/7/2019 I love how Finn saves Kurt! Nice. Blaine is very bold here, proclaiming his love, giving a ring, and is not secretive enough, I imagine. Love how you blended in the box scene, altering it just right. |
Nightingale63 chapter 18 . 11/6/2019 Fun! I do really like Tina here, and catching glimpses of Jesse and Nick and Jeff. This is so much fun for the true Gleek! |
Nightingale63 chapter 17 . 11/6/2019 I like Burt here; realistic, but also sympathetic. I also like Kurt standing up to Sebastian; he has a fiery temper when he needs it. Good chapter, once again! |
leahmo34 chapter 64 . 10/31/2019 I can't believe I finally finished it. It was nice parade. I really enjoyed this story. My dad favorite number was 11, he was born on April 11, 1934 at 11pm weighing at 11 pounds. He died on July 4th 2011 at 4:11 am. |
leahmo34 chapter 63 . 10/30/2019 Well I'm finally here. I'm wondering if Blaine ever told his father. ps. what's the name of the sequel? I'm wondering if Blaine Will ever top. |
Nightingale63 chapter 16 . 10/28/2019 Delightful chapter! You paint a picture well, and we all know Blaine in his red jacket would be stunning. So much fun, bringing in so many characters! Love it! Then of course the first kiss, complete with idyllic setting... lovely. Delicate and well-written. |
leahmo34 chapter 62 . 10/28/2019 I never heard of the pudding, but it sounds yummy. Chocolate covered doughnuts are my favorite. Blaine a little bit on the controlling side. But he means well. But he's kind. at least he worked out Kurts problems. I'm surprised Blaine hasn't got his own apartment yet. |
leahmo34 chapter 61 . 10/26/2019 Good thing the club got closed down, there could have been a bar fight or something. I'm surprised Kurt hasn't become a teacher or another pilot or work in fashion. I'm surprised you remember everything in each chapter, after I write the reviews. I love the history after the chapters. ps. do you still write fanfics? |
leahmo34 chapter 60 . 10/24/2019 Well I'm glad Kurt talked to his dad. |
