"How'd you ever land a girlfriend with that lame ass sense of humor?" LOLOLOL! I love Rufus, but he's a goober, so Wyatt saying this made me laugh out loud in my office.

This fic is great. Lucy, understandably, would be on edge with overprotective, overbearing Wyatt being all over her in the past, then keeping his distance in the present. That's a total mind eff. She was just protecting herself. Love that she yelled at him and kissed the hell out of him while simultaneously telling him to back the hell off. That's talent, frankly. I'm pretty much here for Wyatt being overprotective, though. He loves her so hard and he was just trying to do the right thing, even if it backfired.

Rufus dropping truth bombs is the best. He does, indeed, see everything, so I enjoyed him calling Wyatt out. I'm glad that was enough of a push to get Wyatt to extract his head from his own ass and finally admit to Lucy how he felt.

I'd read about these two idiots falling in love a thousand different times. Nice work!

AHHH this was so cute! I have been on a fanfic hiatus recently (having a job is very inconveniencing to me it seems! xD) but I am BACK AND HERE FOR IT with season 2! I love love love the line about his performance review. And the whole dynamic between Lucy and Wyatt is just adorable... he's such a sad puppy bless him, he doesn't get it. And Rufus is SO SASSY - this really foreshadowed him telling Wyatt off in 2x01! You tell him Rufus! (as he is going to constantly through season 2 GAHHH). Loved this, apologies I've been MIA with reviews/reading. Looking forward to your season 2 stories!

I'm so glad they were able to work things out! With the tension between them, looks like they need some makeup sex to put them in the same page (part 3 maybe?). We are days away from season 2 premiere but I need more fanfics to take my mind off the still waiting period.

Oh gosh, I though chapter one was good but chapter two was EVEN BETTER. I love that Rufus is the one to point out the truth to Wyatt. Their friendship growing to that point is everything I want lol. And the Wyatt’s reaction to Lucy indirectly admitting she loved him was so perfect. And I adored Rufus and Jiya at the end! Great work! This perfect last fic to post before SEASON TWO! Omg, it’s so close! YAY!

Ha, angry kiss, angry sex mentioned in my fic - great minds :) Jiya had a crazy theory and nevermind? What was her theory? Douchey obliviousness? HA. And how much do I love that the wise, sage Rufus of fic-land is going to be canon, at least based on the one promo!

I don't like sad, dejected, insecure Wyatt though :( Even if it makes for feisty/annoyed Lucy, because I do like her, lol. Ugh, I hope he doesn't get caught up in his head and the Jessica guilt this season. I mean, here, yeah, sure, one of those 'hurts so good' things, but 10 episodes is not enough time for that nonsense!

I do, however, love that they both just sort of slipped the 'ILY' into the conversation like it's no big deal. Though I have to admit, his mosquito on the mouth line made me crack up because I just saw the documentary 'Jane' about Jane Goodall and her chimps, and in it, the chimps were grooming each other and eating the bugs they picked off each other, and Wyatt removing a mosquito from Lucy's mouth with his was a little too close to that :D

And of course, cocky, corny, handsy Wyatt is the best! It was also only fitting that he got in a little nip, given your title ;) And just straight up laying Lucy out over the seat of his truck and pretty much just plastering himself on top of her?! YASSSS. Horizontal in the parking lot ftw! Yay! Thanks for writing this!

Wonderful! Love the shifts in perspective to Wyatt, then Rufus. Oh poor Wyatt-so hangdog when Lucy woke up. He deserved that mother of all lectures Rufus gave him tho, and also the sweet release from Lucy once they cleared the air. And ha! The parking scene made me laugh. Just a bit too, pent-up, eh? So I pretty much knew I was going to love a story based on our three heroes being in quarantine-but this was even better than I had hoped! I love all the angst of Lucy and Wyatt getting their emotional wires crossed. Loved the 1793 grenade mosquito comment, calling back to their previous conversation...and the tension formed by that bug!
I'm really looking forward to find out how W and L going to work this out-'cause they're going to, right? Right? Of course, working it out while in quarantine could prove rather awkward for poor Rufus!
