I can definitely relate to Ivan in that math class. I never ask the teacher if I don't understand something. I hate looking like I don't know anything.

I don't blame Alfred for his interests. Personally, I love physics, and want to get some kind of major that's related to it (the more physics, the better). Of course, I might end up changing my mind some time down the road, if it ends up getting too hard for me.

Poor Ivan. Kids can be jerks.

I remember when I was in middle school, my brother would get mad at me for 'ruining his reputation'. It wasn't as if I was actively trying to make him miserable at school. It was just because I wasn't popular, and that was oh so embarrassing for him. -_-

It gets a little better in adulthood, but unfortunately, many of the people still have that 'popularity is important' bull stuck in their heads. Remember that stupid group of girls who picked on you for no reason when they weren't really too great themselves? They still exist as adults. It just gets more amusing to watch people like this because their existence is kind of sad.

Awwwwww, Ivan is so sweet! This poor baby is learning, GIVE HIM A CHANCE PEOPLE!

Aw Ivan, trying hard for his sisters' sakes. maybe if he could observe the way they interact, seems like a very relatable line. This is interesting.

Poor Ivan... :( being bullied by your class mates is one of the worst things that can happen in school - and your school should be your second home, a place were you can feel safe. And it's really sad that even Ivan himself has started to believe that HE should change himself so that others would accept him... Why is it that even little kids bully those who are just different?
