I think I can now safely call this the best fanfiction I've read for the Vampire Diaries. Too often people go too far into the fan service and end up making characters ooc, but I haven't seen that once (except the justified changes in the scooby gang, but that only makes things better). I love how unrepentant Zattana is about changing things, not even trying to preserve cannon for her knowledge of the future. There's also no senseless agonizing over characters who 'did bad things but are actually really good people, seriously'. I love it, thank you so much for writing this.

I'm not trying to be a bitch but is rather awkward the way that the Asturias speak, you know, mixing spanish at the most random times; I get it that they use it for their noble titles but there's no necessity to say "gracias" to a character that canonically speaks english in the States. And I understand that the Asturias family is very powerful because they're Death's but c'mon, they're so flat. You make the rest of the characters growth and madurate but that shows how this family is a bad Mary Sue, nobody is perfect and I feel their "flaws" just make them more perfect in the Asturias creepy way to do things.
It was weird to find a story like yours and it started really good, was very complex and fascinating with incredible dynamics between characters but now it just more know-it-all Asturias being the chosing one and saving the world. It kind of disappoint me.

This feels so much more in depth and layered than the original show itself, but I do feel like Zaranna and her fam are a bit TOO perfect — from powers, intelligence, and in the looks. Perhaps it’s a supernatural natural inheritance? I mean, I know of her PTSD and her experience with past life, so it balances out a bit more. But I think they feel more so flat lately? (Too arrogant and powerful, maybe the all-knowing can do that too?) Hard to pinpoint it. However, the story is complex and fascinating. I think Kols presence could help that more for Zee. Maybe she opens up eventually about her rebirth.
I like the change in romance for Elena, even the donavan dynamic.
Keep it up. This is amazing and I look forward to more.

I am SO excited with how different this has been, yet a lil saddened by the difference for Stefan, and maybe Damon. They improved much later, as characters I felt. But Damon was horribly cruel and unlikeable in the beginning.

This is a very educational and sophisticated story, gotta admit. Lots of info, and advice we’ll presented.

I LOVE that everything is out in the open, and just hope it works in the better. And she’s right, ignorance kills. Or can. Especially within the supernatural.

I’d hoped she wouldn’t be tall-tall, cause everyone in the show seems to be tall and model-like. Never shorter. As a shorter individual, it’s a bit depressing. It’s a bit picky thing, but idk. It gets a lil frustrating not seeing much variety when finding stories, and all model height always.
Anyways, I can see Atticus being a looker already. Wonder if any within the group will gravitate towards him.
Another curious thing, with them being favored by death, will they succeed in becoming vampires and retain all of their magic? Considering nature talk and all can’t blend with vampire.

I am glad she is getting passed the assumption she will just be the same character. She’s a person now, and this reality isn’t a show. It can be shaped and molded. I like that she wants to take Elena under her wing, in a way. It sooo beats the many bashing stories. I love when people take it upon themselves to improve characters.

Now I can’t help but imagine Kol being an equivalent to Constantine, and oddly there’s many similarities.

Just want to say i love your Story. I especially love the pairing and can't wait to See what happens when they All meet Elijah or Klaus. I love the fact that you are building up Kols Character bit by bit, and jow you Do it. Always thought He was left behind and treated unfairly. But you are changing that which i love. HOPE YOU WILL UPDATE SOON, LOVE IT

First of all, I hope you and your family are okay during those weird times.
I'm sorry for the delay in the review, I read the chapter in the hour after it was out but I had to go out and then I forgot, my bad ahah.

As usual, your chapter is great and really enjoyable to read. Your writing skills are as good as usual and I really think you should stick with the multiple Povs, it makes the story feel more 'fluid' if you know what I mean.

I'm so happy we got more of Atti in this chapter, he such a good brother to Zee. But damn the reunion between Enzo and Damon almost made me cry, it was so sad... I like the fact that you made us feel the pain of Enzo through the eyes of the 'kids' but a Enzo pov could have been great too (maybe a little cliché? I'm not sure).
The "you should have kill me" part broke me though... It was so sad but so comprehensible at the same time. I wanted to hug the despair at of him.
Still Mister A is such a classy man. Elijah who? The way he threatened Damon was so perfect and he was kind enough (also I don't see why cause Damon really sucks at the moment) to not lock him out Klaus' way.

On a happier note, Miranda is a total badass, Vicki is officially the best human and Tylena foreva baby lol.

I also think I found a new nickname for StefanSourpuss, don't you think it's perfect for him ahah? I'm weirdly glad to see he still is a pain in the arse of everyone, especially Tyler.
I liked Ethel, she seems interesting and intelligent and classy badass women are the best ahah.

So Damon learned the truth about KittyKat uh? I'm glad Enzo was there to see his despair live (I'm so mean toward Damon lol). Also Enzo totally is a Slytherin or at least he was when he told Damon he knew the truth about Katherine and I liked that a lot.

So the best for the end, I really really love Zee more and more each chapter. I love how her facade/pker face is not as good as she thinks and that her family (and us through their eyes) are realizing that she's more 'brokenI don't like that word but I can't think of a better one) than she's letting us know. She's not just a powerful OC and that's great!
Also she admitted to herself that she was crushing on Kol and that's the best thing in the world lmao. I love the way they interact and how Kol seems so far away in a way. Your version is so much like I envisioned him and I'm living for it!
