I really like in this chapter I didn't remotely think about but you thought about it ahead, the fact our three hero cast than Ragna has NEVER been in this dark situation. To make the hard decision to kill or be killed situation in this world.

Side note, i love both hyde and Yu with being MC status of their respective games and are good boys. I like Yu for being blunt and better with charasmatic while Hyde build of his charasma charm in its own way in funny way. XD

This chapter i kept chuckling and smiling through and through. Really enjoy this opportunity you gave Yu and Ragna small talk and interactions, something i felt story cross tag itself missed the mark. It was always Hi im "this" you're "that". lets talk about main sercret plot why we're all here, wait get interrupted by fight, aaaaand...something running gag/quirky about themselves. Leaves...

Your writing structure already looks better here in third chapter, was gonna hold till i caught up, but i wanted to say something here. Moving on.

Man, i didn't expect this second chapter to be like this after ready first chapter, it's weird...

But i like it! I'm not familiar of this OC character/setting unless its all your original character/setting based on the cliche genre set-up, hence your fanfic title Isekai I'm just realizing as im writing this review.

My only criticism is probably the flow in middle of writing you have some (insert context or highlights) like Ruby pun in first chapter. Or you letting readers know of music to be played. I can see it as Omake as small comedic/joke/light-hearted moments. Overall you should do best you can in beginning chapter to middle of writing-wise make it be read like it's professional novel, maybe characters do sprinkle a humorous response of their characters or running joke/meme of their respective series. But at least till your Omake segment at end of these chapters when you include them than that's when i feel your (Insert A.N./highlights text box) can help lighten or break the mood towards end of chapter.

Also the particular dialogue Ragna saying Yare yare is a japanese expression, but i am just personally feeling conflicted if i shouldn't be reading this seriously but always taken back as Ragna would in english dub/writing as adaptation should be; "Gimmie a damn break" as in dub he does have a potty mouth.

But i see you already have a couple of chapters uploaded, so the stones are set. I just like the theme challenge you're tackling here and writing direction shown. Your quality just needs a bit of brush up but has a lot of charm behind it for my enjoyment. Moving forward!

When do you think Cross Tag Isekai will come around again?

I see a comment about the new dlc characters in BBCTB, and I think it could be a good idea including them but just making a cameo, like for example, Heart can be the owner of a bakery and help Ragna to increase his cooking skills, but not being a constant character like the four heroes of legend, that could cause contradictions with the beginning of this story.

So considering Heart, Yumi and Akatsuki being the three new reps from new franchises joining the roster, what are the cances of seeing those three joining the Isekai Quartet (See what I did there)?

That's an interesting story and a rather ironic thing is that Yu still managed to have a speciality despite keeping his stats scrupulously equal But then, he often is portrayed as quite the smooth operator. One thing I wonder though: what will Hyde's speciality end up being now? I mean, Yu sewn up that role as the face that they were bickering over...

One smash leak/theory I've been keeping an eye on is the one about the female DLC character. The only thing known about this character (besides the fact that it's female) is the fact that the character has a ponytail. Now, I know she's a spirit, but I'm seriously praying to many gods to make sure Shantae will be a newcomer soon.

Healing people through food? If this skill was in a coop rpg or something id max it the hell out.
