This was beautiful! Like, so many feelings, and Miguel is such a lovely kid, or well, not such a *kid* by the end, I guess, but still a precious little child. And Héctor trying to put a hand on his shoulder, it was super sweet!

My heart! Oh my god, this was so good. This is absolutely canon in my heart now. Hector needs to be brought back home, and this is a wonderful way to do it.

Such a sweet story! I'm so happy that Miguel got to bring his Papá Héctor home. You really thought out the journey Miguel and his family would have taken to get Héctor credit for his songs, to link his death to de la Cruz, and to find his body. I appreciate the attention to detail and the realism!
