This was super fun. I squinted hard. ;) I hope you do more. It would be very interesting to see Erik and Raoul's interactions over time.

This was lovely. At least Erik and Raoul are trying to make the best of things for Gustave's sake. I like how they have so much in common despite their rivalry - neither of them know Gustave very well and they are both trying to get to know him. It's the chance for a new start for all of them.

This was a beautiful piece. You did a wonderful job capturing Erik and Raoul, both older and more mature than they were at the opera house that fateful night but it was their own actions and choices that drove Christine away and ultimately killed her. The fact they can't even blame each other because they know it's a shared guilt, with both equally to blame, just shattered me, especially when you had them so hesitantly interacting with Gustave. Both men are fathers to him in a way, but they are both just as unsure and hesitant and scared of doing/saying the wrong thing, and yet it is because of him that their lives will be forever entwined. Of course, they have always been because of Christine, I don't think either man would ever move past that night for the rest of their lives, but Gustave makes it a far more tangible (and messy) connection. This was really a joy to read and you managed to tug the heartstrings in a the right ways.

Hey! You fixed it! Yay! It truly was great! I don't even ship Erik and Raoul, but overlooking that, it was great.
