This one is making me so uncomfortable. It's not realistic for Kat to have taken him back, not for Rory to forgive him. In the series it was super realistic because they never really tried to fix things up, Rory was always so much closer to Luke, even when her parents were dating. And Lorelai and Christopher had a childlike and fun kind of love, which isn't bad or lesser by any means, but it did lend easier to fix things than between your Kat and Draco. I don't know, it's all just weird

I can understand why Kat reacted the way she did to Blaise’s comment, and I’m surprised he didn’t get it... But oh well, let’s see what he is like in the next updates ;)
And the end of the chapter broke my heart a bit... Kat’s feelings about Scorp are perfectly resonable, but I do hope that in the future she’ll see him as her son if everything goes well with Draco :3

Oh my god, I tested up so many times reading this chapter. Like SO many times. Firstly, I love how Rory was in the beginning of the chapter — her insecurities over how Draco is changing for Scorpius but did not for her. I also adored Lily and how sane her advice was; like she is the calm in that maelstrom that is the Potter household. But I do agree with Rory on one thing — Kat just can’t stop herself from giving Draco a break. Like ALL the time. As you know, he’s not my favourite character in this story — I still feel he has a lot to make up for!

And that flashback with Lily and Draco apologising and Kat with Scorpius... Aaargh, my heart’s bursting with emotions!

I wonder if Rory feels like Scorpius is the makeover baby. Her parents looking after the baby, living together and making a home for him, when her own childhood was vastly different. The poor thing.

Draco's finally beginning to redeem himself, and boy am I glad! Rory deserves a better father.

I'm waiting for the moment when Draco will pull himself up and become a decent parent, but I think when you're buried under so many layers of bullshit, it becomes hard to get yourself clean all of a sudden.

Man, Draco is pissing me off!

And so is Kat, actually, with her tendency to be a doormat.

I absolutely love Rory though. She's all that her mother isn't, and she has her priorities set right. Rory and Teddy have a shot at least at friendship, if not romance. And I also enjoy how sneaky and manipulative Narcissa is. I'm eager to read the next chapter!

I quite realise I'd missed soany updates, but yay, because I get to read in a chunk. I adored how Rory stood up to Draco – the man deserves it. And i like what Pansy's doing too, knowing that she'd be a shitty mother – very responsible.

I'm kind of hoping Kat will adopt the baby boy just to spite Draco. And because Rory wants a sibling.
