First I wanted to say I’m so very sorry for your loss over the summer. I’m not on Facebook or any other social media site per say, but when someone reaches out in any form of a message and talks about loss I feel it should be acknowledged and let known that even if I/we don’t know what may have happened or the circumstances to which you were so affected that you’ve lost your spark. Know that you’re not alone, that there are others who care that you haven’t even met or will ever meet. That that spark that you that is gone and can never be replaced, can shine again but in different ways. Don’t give up hope my dear, cause there are those who advocate for you to once again feel that spark and smile and rejoice. It may not be today, next month, or even in a year but it’ll come, just don’t give up. Cause I have had the immense pleasure of reading your stories, while working with patients that are dying from COVID-19. I’ve watched families and friends mourn their loved ones on a daily basis. I’ve stressed myself to panic inducing levels of whether I’m going to bring this home to my family and watch another person I love die. Everyday I go to work and hope that I won’t have to see a patient struggle to breathe, all the while I struggle to breathe behind a week old mask. BUT! When I get off work and I come home, I disinfect myself, do dinner with the family, and then take a little time to read some delicious stories. And YOURS have made the difference for me lately. So I THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME KEEP A SMILE AND SOME OF MY SANITY
