I respect your feelings on this matter. You and that reviewer feel your story is to similar to "A Third Path to the Future" and in some places an "almost EXACT COPY". I disagree. True there are similarities and you were obviously inspired by said story, you even mentioned it at the end of chapter one. But that's what fanfiction is, especially crossover fanfiction. What would this other character do if they were put in this situation? The choices you have had this particular Ben in this situation make all make sense. Are there similarities? Yes, but there are also plenty of differences and I'm sure more and more differences would have become apparent as the story continued. This is the best Ben 10/Marvel fanfic out there, with the potential to be the best Ben 10 crossover fanfic period. I hope to see more of this fic soon whether you rewrite it or not.

You would be surprised at how some works appear similar but it happens not that it’s right to throw out the copy cat excuse if the author legitimately came up with the idea on their own without realizing its already been done do not throw the the stone. This story is already good shame to any who say the things that shake your confidence

Noooo it was on of the best crosses in Ben 10, just keep writing, and forget stuped cooment from before, who write it is stupid as plank of wood and doesnt see that stories as diffirent! Becasus almost 90% of fics has siliaritis beetwen thmeselfes!

I would also like to say that there are reviewers who tend to act like this (although in this case he did have a reason) and is essentially impossible to please everybody. Never get discouraged otherwise whatever plans you have for a good story could get nipped in the bud, but at the same time it's important to understand that some reviews tend to give critiques on how to improve upon your story even if it comes negatively, in that case you see to it as an objective to develop your skills. Ben should be able to develop spider-man like powers once he turns into spider monkey, by becoming a spider totem. As he has mana in his body and he will have an aspect of the spider when he transforms. The effect of being a spider totem should persist. And slowly give him some spider related abilities.

Well that is if you want to make it like that.

Rath is my favorite alien in the entire series by a long shot. I hope he gets lots of love in this fic...I would probably have a fangasm if we got a Hulk vs. Rath scene.

I'm curious to see what you'll change and keep, I am wondering what you'll do with Jean and the Phoenix. Will you have it be a cosmic entity or a part of her that was hidden away?

As for Ben's company have it be difficult to manage, running a business is hard especially if it has competition like Oscorp, Stark industries, Pym Tech and countless others.

I understand where you're coming from and I suppose a suggestion when it comes to Gene and the Phoenix for situation honestly you could just simply do what the comics we're supposed to do but constantly failed that aside from the one exception of the white Phoenix of the crown Ark simply make Jean and the Phoenix force one entity like they're always meant to be Jean was supposed to be essentially the corporeal version of the Phoenix Force. In any case ultimately I look forward to see what you intend to do in that regard.

Haven't been improve the world using technology makes perfect sense as you say he's full Universe in advance tech and he's dealt with Advanced alien technology for a significant part of his life and at this point considering his age for most of his life so it's only natural that he would go that direction especially considering he literally has a piece of alien technology bonded to his genetic structure. And of course something that would help you go in a different direction is to have been make allies with spacefaring civilization out there that are not antagonistic towards Earth since Ben is already used to having extraterrestrial allies this would also make sense I mean one of the main purpose of the Omnitrix after all was to allow the wielder to be able to walk in the shoes of another species and better understand them so bad and should definitely be able to help make some actual extraterrestrial allies for Earth.

But ultimately man I say you should do what you think is best to make this story of yours live up to the expectations that you have for it I wish you the best of luck and I hope you are staying safe.

One thing that might help would be to have Ben interact with other groups in the marvel universe besides almost exclusively staying with the X-men. For example, maybe Ben could reach out to the Runaways since he knows how important is it to have a reliable mentor when you are young, coming into your powers, while also trying to protect your family. I also think seeing a combination of kids with alien DNA and a magic user will also be a bit nostalgic for Ben as well.
