Rosenthorne chapter 5 . 6/1 I enjoyed it ) |
Legolass Q chapter 5 . 5/2 The heroism and stoicism of Legolas comes across magnificently here, not in a glamorous sort of way, but quietly and sometimes subtly. And it was wonderful how the others supported him in their own ways, the Aragorn-Legolas friendship I am obsessed with coming through as well. And the ending was just right. Legolas allowed himself to collapse only after he had done his job. His expectation of help from Lothlorien just because he is the son of Thranduil - some might call it arrogrant, but I thought it aptly majestic. Love this story as well. Thank you. |
FireFly chapter 4 . 4/27 I loved it. I haven't read a good and new lotr fanfic in some time, thank you for that. :) |
NiFeTiSe chapter 4 . 10/1/2019 Brilliant story, all of the characters are so well written. |
KimicThranduilion chapter 5 . 6/23/2019 I loved the main fic - Legolas was brilliantly portrayed. I also very much enjoyed you writers notes and insight as a writer myself it always intrigues me to hear the processes other writers go through with their fic. Thanks for sharing. Lastly The Fetcher was lovely so heartfelt and angsty. And I really do adore your Thranduil. You write hi so believably and beautifully. Congrats on your awesome work. |
KimicThranduilion chapter 3 . 6/23/2019 Another fantastic chapter. The lapses between past and present were well done and not at all confusing. They conveyed very clearly Legolas' mental state. Great writing |
KimicThranduilion chapter 2 . 6/23/2019 This story is so good I'm excited to keep on reading. I loved the flashback - it was well written and so intriguing and interesting. I also adored your portrayal of Thranuil and Legolas' relationship. I think you've done it very well. I really like Thranduil's outward coldness yet still at the same time being so terrified for the health of his son. It was touching. I can't wait for the next chap. Great job! |
Guest chapter 5 . 6/7/2019 I would have liked that you would have stretched the story ('Walking wounded') a little bit more, allowing us to read about Legolas' recovery, but it might be only because I'm in love with your stories :) Rationally thinking, the ending was as excellent as all your fics. Also, I enjoyed the flashbacks (it's always a delight to observe the relationship between the son and the father, the prince and the king)! |
BakaRaijuu chapter 4 . 3/9/2019 Thank you for this fantastic fanfic, the quality of your writing is amazing. I want to read more and more of it, the way you built up the story, the intermingle of flashbacks and present, the characters, thoughts and feelings of Legolas along the way, everything just fits perfectly. Thank you again. Please keep writing :) and if you ever happen to release a book or something please tell us! (yes, I do believe your caliber is up for a long novel) Hannon le, mellon |
wotumba1 chapter 5 . 2/22/2019 thanks for the bonus :) |
wotumba1 chapter 4 . 2/22/2019 gotta love legolas and his resolve and endurance |
Nurayy chapter 4 . 2/17/2019 Oh my, that was awesome! You are an amazing writer. The way you build the story, there is a complexity and a such a richness in it, and the suspense just catches me. The way you describe Legolas, his thoughts, his feelings, his motivation, his personality, his strength is so beautiful. And the relationships with the characters ou describe it so nicely. When I finish reading your story, once more, it leaves me stunned, without words, I first have to recuperate myself. Just wow! So deep! So good! |
Lusse Eldalion chapter 5 . 2/14/2019 It's been almost a year since you published this, but it's never late to congratulate a great writer on a great fic! I must confess, I'm more inclined towards fanfics that tell stories from years before or after LOTR books (like Legolas' life before the War of the Ring, or his friendship with Aragorn after the War...) but now and then I find a great fic like this one and I can't help but absolutely love it. Great job! Keep it up |
Guest chapter 5 . 8/26/2018 Wow. Just wow. I'm really impressed with this story - the way you describe how Legolas managed to find the strength to continue. Normally, I'm not a big fan of flashbacks as they usually slow down the story and don't add much to the plotline, but I was really enjoying the flashbacks and how they made the various characters much more complex. I'm really happy that you've started writing LoTR fanfiction again because you are really one of my favourite authors |
wswpub chapter 4 . 7/24/2018 wow this is a wonderful series. I actually enjoyed this version of the fellowship arriving at Lothlorian better than the movie. Well done! |
