serialkeller chapter 7 . 11/13/2018 Really good story. I love that nobody will know if they are talking to the real him or not, especially dumbles and voldemort as they definitely don't have wand maker eyes to see him and with the sceptre clones even he couldn't tell it was a clone. |
g u est55 chapter 7 . 11/6/2018 What! No Hedwig? You gotta have harry get both. |
GuidingHand chapter 7 . 11/4/2018 I’m enjoying the story. It is fun and different. Suggestion: This Harry isn’t a Gryffindor. Chivalory and bravery isn’t part of him. He does things for his own sake, not that of others. He likes to learn. His personality traits best fit Slytherin or Ravenclaw. He probably fits Slytherin best, but then you might fall into a lot of standard FanFic trops and have trouble making the story uniquely yours. Is he going to have true friends, or is he going to be more like Tom, gathering others to do his bidding or to admire him, those who may think they are Harry’s friend, while Harry isn’t actually looking for close friendships? You’ve given him skills and twlent. What do you ultimately want him to do with those? Save the world from Voldemort? Take over the muggle or magical world? Create a shool of wizards like himself? Would this Harry actually choose to live at Hogwarts, or would he find a way to have his clones live there while he lived in a more suitable abode? He, or his clones, will get lots of detentions due to his sharp tongue. The teachers will be thrilled with his magically ability as long as his bordem with the classes doesn’t lead him into trouble. Ohh! Here’s a twist, for this or some other story. All the chaos that happens throughout the HP books isn’t caused by Voldemorts henchmen, it’s all done by Harry! For example, Harry goes after the sorceres stone on his own because he wants it for himself, or he could make one. Probably just more thoughts to ponder than any real help. Good luck with the tale. It’s good so far. Hey, if writing about school is the issue skip the school years, breeze by them with brief descriptions and the go into the tale of this Harry as an adult. |
randomplotbunny chapter 7 . 11/1/2018 Another amazing chapter! Harry is going to be unstoppable once he gets his Phantasms working! :-D And this Harry is definitely a Slytherin, he's cunning and very ambitious. The Snake Pit won't know what hit them- or what reality is anymore- once Harry enters the Game. :-) And I can see the teachers, and Dumbles, treating Harry the same way his Muggle teachers did: focus on his clone in class and elsewhere so Harry can do the real work on his own without being watched. Only Potions may be different as it is more hands on, but it would still apply for the times they are not actively brewing. Will Harry be disguising his Sceptre as an ordinary Wand? It is rather noticeable and unique, and he doesn't like being singled out. And I know the pitfalls of being dragged down by all the details you want to give for a scene but the details are making it too cumbersome. I usually deal with it by writing out all those details and then taking a cinematic route to editing it down: cut what ever doesn't NEED to be there and use a reference in a later scene to cover other things that had happened but that take too long to write out. Or: use a few class scenes to show what it going on or when important information/character growth occurs- like the first movie did, making it seem like only a few classes happened between September first and Halloween- but let everything else be inferred as a given. Hope that helped. :-) I am really looking forward to more of this story and seeing just what all Harry is likely to do! :-D |
GeniusReader chapter 6 . 10/22/2018 good work...keep going... |
GuidingHand chapter 6 . 10/22/2018 I found this chapter to be very entertaining. My favorite part was the Star Wars reference, “You don’t need to see our identification.” I like that his clone interacts with him. I’d like to see more of that. Looking forward to more! |
randomplotbunny chapter 6 . 10/22/2018 Spectacular chapter! Harry is going to be a right terror once he has that Wand in hand! :-D |

GuidingHand chapter 5 . 10/20/2018 I’m enjoying the story! |
randomplotbunny chapter 5 . 10/20/2018 Awesomeness! I am so looking forward to Harry using his Whammy Bug at Hogwarts! :-D For Harry's Wand: I'm not certain on the wood but Demigos Hair for the Core? I hope I'm thinking of the correct magical creature. The one that can make itself invisible, its fur used in invisibility cloaks. Or maybe Boggart essence? Either one would match well with Harry's illusionary abilities. :-) |
Wolff Howl chapter 5 . 10/20/2018 Enjoying it very much so far. I will be looking forward to more. |
randomplotbunny chapter 4 . 10/17/2018 Fantastic chapter! Love the way Harry freaked out the Dursleys and managed to eat a meal in peace. It would be neat if Petunia's scream had one of the neighbors calling the police, who arrive just in time to see Vernon snap and attack 'Harry'. It would be hard for him to explain how he hadn't meant to attack his own son/wife but his nephew instead, especially once Harry's 'room' is discovered. Vernon would come off looking crazy as well as violent and a danger to society. :-) As for getting the truth out of Petunia... how about a parrot that only she can see and hear that follows her around everywhere repeating everything she says- loudly- interspersed with the question 'What is the truth?'. Petunia would be driven to distraction, especially as she wouldn't be able to grab Harry and force him to make it stop, and would eventually crack. And if Harry did the same to Dudley- say a monkey following him around and messing with his stuff, making him look crazy to his friends and teachers- Petunia would be beside herself to stop the 'freakishness' from touching her precious Diddykims. |
Princesakarlita411 chapter 4 . 10/16/2018 Love the illusion to his trick |
randomplotbunny chapter 3 . 2/21/2018 Awesome chapter! Harry has taught himself a trick even Tom Riddle didn't master as a child, if ever. I can't wait to see what all he does with it and what else he's likely to learn to do! :-D |
