Great chapter. Bones and Booth can both be pretty rigid, but their chemistry as a couple is strong enough to get them past it. Bacon will do in the best of us.

Typical Brennan always going overboard, even though she is acting out of love and concern she is going about it the wrong way but at least some sense got knocked into her in the end. Well done.

I enjoyed this chapter very much. I love all the details.

Loved it, poor Booth. I'd suffer if someone took my bacon away too. I don't cook with salt and you don't really miss it if you use herbs and spices. Loved that Aubrey had candy in his office but wasn't above stealing and begging Booth for his. Brennan was right to tone back her ideas about the diet. He'll cooperate better if he gets a say in what he's eating.

Spiders, why does it always have to be spiders? (Shades of Indiana Jones dropping into the snake-filled pit...Snakes, why does it always have to be snakes?) I'd have screamed and freaked out like Aubrey for sure. Poor Hodgins, suffering the unexpected pitfalls of parenthood. Glad Angela made it up to him before he left. Great story!

What a nice though slightly angsty story; perfectly suited to the freezing drizzle and sleet that were/ are intermittently forecast for our area over the last and next few days. Icy streets are the worst! I wouldn't have thought putting a vehicle in park would prevent further catastrophe, but I once inadvertently avoided whiplash by stopping further back than normal at a stoplight just before I was rear-ended. Because I had space to prevent hitting the car in front of me, I was spared worse injuries. Your descriptions of the various situations are so detailed, it's easy to visualize Cam and Arastoo's day. I'm very much looking forward to your next posting!
