Interesting, the suddenness of the situation is a very unorthodox approach especially regarding these two characters. It was a more film approach wth the added stereotype of rain in the mix. So whilst the idea was there, it honestly felt like a regular Hollywood movie couple with a bit of the Hiccup flare. Still, for the length it was done tidily and read fluently which is a good redeeming factor :D

That was a great one time story. I think you should consider turning it a full story. You got me wondering, why Astrid felt that Scott was the only one there? Wherewhy did Henry go somewhere else? And what future is in store for HenryAstrid? And will Scott try to get her back?

I liked the story but this repeating theme of Astrid dating Snotlout in these modern AU's confuses me, it blatantly clear that she dislikes Snotlout in canon, and yet in most of these modern AU's she's dating him.

What's with that?

Felt kinda rushed because it seems Hiccup and Astrid weren't even that close. Would have been better if you put timelines where they start of as friends then progress to a couple. Just a thought though. In the end though I spazed like an idiot at the kiss. Lot of potential in this I'd love to see more of your works

No rebound for her, she's got the real deal and she's going to slowly learn what a loving boyfriend...and more should be like, when she's his focus.
