Oh, the angst! This made my heart hurt... I just wanted them to be together, but you wrote about their pain so well. Even though there were so many sad parts to this story, I enjoyed it very much.

Okay, first things first, I'm a fellow Joe writer who has gone off the radar when it comes to Joe fics, both reading and writing, but I have recently come back to read, and find inspirations to write Joe again. Let me just say, that this AMAZING story has truly captivated me. I absolutly love the hatred, passion, hurt, and genuine love that you have written into these two. I love the end "scene" when Beach gives CG his medal and tells her his soul is in there. I love her reaction to his answering her question about his heart. It was so real, all of it, but to a hopeless romantic like me, that specific part was real. I cried the first, second and third time I read it, and I started from the beginning each time, just so I could get the build up for the end. I wish my own versions of CH/BH were as well rounded and utterly deep like yours. I've got a few, like six, different stories about BH/CG going, that I hope will all tie into a series, or possibly fit into a large multi-chapter. Anyway, I'm rambling, I just wanted to say how wonderful it was to read this. Thanks for writing...

I just wanted you to know your writing is exquisitely beautiful. I especially, especially enjoy reading the way you write the dynamics of Beach Head and Cover Girl's relationship. There were so many scenes in this story that make me want to sob because of how heart-wrenching it is.
