I like how the story started out with Sakura had trouble reconnecting with either Sasuke or Naruto post-war. It usually made a great premise of Sakura realizing she actually have feelings for Naruto. Sadly, in the first chapter we don't get to see many development of her confusion led to realization of her feelings. Somehow it kinda felt rushed when she suddenly meet Naruto and she's just bursted out her feelings. It is very understandable then why Naruto really doubt her feelings.

Although the second chapter is nice. We get to see both of them talked out their feelings openly and actually discussed it thoroughly during the travel.

One scene that really mad me baffled is when Sakura suddenly stop and asked Naruto if he's really wants to meet Sasuke. It's just a weird, considering she's the one who keeps telling Naruto it is what her wants, she wants to do this, she's keep reassuring Naruto that she want him, but suddenly have mini mental breakdown at that time. I don't know, but, it seems very inconsistent.

Other than that, I think 2nd chapter is just nice. I like when they meet Sasuke and Sakura found out about the one who said ‘you liked my forehead’ is actually Naruto. Sakura's motivation to keen on keeping her feelings towards Sasuke was based on Naruto's action, that actually the one that she always looked upon is Naruto. I think that's a good execution towards their past and that was the thing that actually tied all of this story together.

At the end, thank you for writing and sharing this with us. I enjoyed reading this story!

Think this whole story can be summed up in two words "Teme... Help..." LOL but hey at least they got a nice relaxing trip out of it with out having to worry about work... :/

I enjoyed this story and glad i stumbled on to the second part of the story so that i could read this as it is a prime example of how things could change if someone had all the info

It makes sense for them to be together with all the things they went through together in Sasuke's absence... Anyways, have you heard the song - They're just Ghosts by Motion Blur? It feels like a perfect angst NaruSaku with Naruto's perspective over there... anyways the story has a strong basis... Keep it up!

Though i also like SasuSaku... NaruSaku should've been a couple.. they love each other so much beyond words.. If Kishimoto is just good in developing female characters and Naruto is a shoujo anime.. *sigh*

chapter 1 I really didn't care about but that scene confronting Sasuke about that Forehead scene from their childhood and Sakura getting understandably upset over it being Naruto being the one to have said that to her... I can see it playing out differently if Naruto had fested up to telling her that and explained that he did under a Sasuke Henge because he was nervous about asking her directly.

I'm sorry but she's playing victim. She admits she loves Sasuke but doens't let go of Naruto, she just strings him along. Then asks why he gave up on her.

Question should be if has a reason to fight for her. If she wants him to fight for her

It's a yes or a no, no middle ground when letting someone go.

If she's serious she should say it straight to his face. 'I don't want to be with Sasuke, I want to be with you' not expect him to do everything. She wants a relationship with him? Then she must give in return.

Why am I so upset about this? because I was led on to pursue something that was never there, but dancing around the subject I just thought there was a chance when there wasn't, and I wasted time of my life for nothing because she was never willing to give a chance but chose to give me hope because it made her feel better.

That's disgusting

This was a great story im glad there are still people like you that like the narusaku pairing and write great stories like this
