WHAT THE HECK!
jackjones15660 chapter 6 . 4/29
I find this part of the story... I don't know, incredibly petulant on behalf of Percy? Somehow I don't imagine being granted any form of immortality, let alone god-hood, to basically a get of out death free card that you can then give up once the danger has passed.

The Fates cut Percy's string. He SHOULD have died. Because of his achievements and the respect love people harboured for him, he was granted an incredibly gift. Something only a few people have ever been granted in the entire history of Greek and Roman mythology. The option to spend years, hell decades more, with his family, friends and most importantly the woman he loved, when instead he should have been in Hades. Yes, it wasn't exactly how he imagined it. But it seems better than the alternative.

Instead of appreciating that and being thankful (And knowing, as a god probably would, that it cannot be reversed simply because he was fed up with it without meaning his death) he is basically throwing a childish tantrum. I mean... I imagine the Fates wouldn't change their mind once Percy was mortal again. If anything I imagine they are pissed someone tried to escape their will, and will immediately see him dead. Especially as Greek mythological figures are know for being spiteful and lovers of a good tragedy - Greek heroes never have a happy ending.

Are you really telling me in Percy's mind that godhood (Which we already know he was actually tempted too several times and did appreciate the allure off), getting to spend years more with those he loves than he should have (And actually getting to spend time with his dads side of the family as well) is somehow worse than having died nearly a decade ago, or being granted mortality now and being killed soon after by the Spiteful and Cruel Fates?

What a bittersweet story. This was definitely worth the read; great job and I look forward to your future PJO fanfictions!
spacemonkey13 chapter 21 . 1/20/2019
To be honest, I haven't read a lot of PJO fanfiction as some of the stories' style and plots tend to lose me. But this... WOW. Thanks for writing this and seeing it through to the end. It's not easy to complete a multi-chapter story, but you did it and captured their lives beautifully. Even the mature scenes weren't overly used and contrived. I also loved the pacing of your story. Your plot and characters didn't jump around frantically or awkwardly. I'd say I honestly loved everything about this piece. So again, thank you for this.
angsty-queen chapter 20 . 1/19/2019
This chapter was rather bittersweet because Percy has Annabeth with him...but their children are still mortal. I feel very torn with this, but in a good way. I think I want to cry, but I'm smiling at the same time.
angsty-queen chapter 19 . 1/18/2019
I have been working nights, so reading your story has kind of been put aside, but I am back to reading it. This was such a wonderful chapter. I'm glad Annabeth has become successful, but at least Percy keeps her down-to-earth. I have a feeling your setting us readers up for heartbreak, because she is not getting any younger, whereas he remains the same age. Well, here we go...

*Sniff*. I’M NOT CRYING! YOUR CRYING!
