This should be required reading for all those Xander-bashers who still don't get what he contributed to the show. I don't think he would have actually pulled the trigger - he doesn't have that in him, even though he'd think he does - but the PTB would surely understand that he needed the perspective right about then.

This is a great story about Xander. So many people overlook him especially now during the last two seasons. It's a shame what's going to happen to him on the series in the future-and all because Noxious Noxon and the morons at ME have skewed the entire show to be about Spuffy.

That was so sad! I don't really buy into Xander commiting suicide, but I suppose if pushed far enough he might consider it. You covered my favorite Xander moments and the funeral was heartbreaking. Especially the bit about Cordy, Angel and Spike. Wonderful job. Long Live Xander! Honestly...I almost cried.

Nice description of just what Xander's contributed over the years, but for me it suffered from missing the ending. You know, where George realises just how much the people care. As far as I can tell, in this Xander has to endure another couple of years of misery and being neglected before Faith arrives.
