TessaH chapter 4 . 2/10/2019 I know that this story isn't finished, but I love your writing style so much that I knew it would be worth the read anyways. I was right; this is definitely a great story! I know you are a very busy woman but I really hope you find the time to finish it sometime. Its so emotional; I love that despite the emotions Lucas is going through in his mind he still has a good heart that shows up when he is worried for Kristen. I also love the tenderness Nathan is showing towards Kristen while still wrestling with his inner turmoil about Lucas. This story definitely deserves to have a happy ending! :) |
Lostinwriting134 chapter 4 . 2/21/2018 Kristin is right. Nathan is not his usual self. But still, Kristin needs to accept his offered help. Sometime we all need a shoulder to cry on. Doesn't matter how old we are. |
Lostinwriting134 chapter 3 . 2/21/2018 Just sad. Oh Kristin. It is time to talk about it. |
Lostinwriting134 chapter 2 . 2/21/2018 Hm, I needed to read Sawyer's Peace story again to understand your change in Nathan's character. I did feel a lot of compassion regarding the author. So sorry for Lucas, but he is a fictional character, I don't mind his written suffering if Sawyer could get some peace of mind, given his personal circumstances. I think, discipline should always be free of corporal punishments and fortunately in Germany even parents are no longer allowed to use corporal punishments. But I know it is legal in most countries and should therefore dealt with respect. And as I said, in fiction I don't mind. If I get a fair warning... I don't complain either, that someone is murdered in a criminal story. ;) So please tell us Kristin's story. And please don't take offense. I love your Nathan, bring him back in his old form. THANK YOU so very much. |
Lostinwriting134 chapter 1 . 2/21/2018 Ten reviews are far too less to tell you, how happy I am that you are back. Thank you so very much for keeping seaQuest alive. |
Jewelbox1322 chapter 4 . 2/11/2018 OMG I am SO thrilled to see you back in the SeaQuest fandom. I remember this story and I love that you are reposting it. You are great at going into each character's emotional depths in detail and I love that you are tackling a dark part of Kristin's history. I'm both intrigued and terrified for her. But I especially love the interplay between her, Nathan and Lucas. And of course, I'm hoping for resolution...eventually. I know there may not be as many of us here but those of us that still lovingly cling to our beloved SQ sincerely appreciate authors who share their work and bring us joy. I hope more people will read and review! |
Sawyer's Peace chapter 4 . 2/4/2018 Jenny, my favourite SeaQuest writer, so nice to see you take the courage to post your story again. I read some of the revisions you sent me. This story is all your own! My story may have sparked your muse, but this story is all yours! Good job! Nathan, Lucas and Kristin are all fighting their own demons and no one wants to share with the other. This is going to be an interesting ride to figure out how long it's going to take them to come clean with one another. Cheers! Sawyer |
bassetfan chapter 3 . 2/3/2018 So nice to see a new seaQuest story from you! I remember the original but will have to go back and re-read it. I like that you're expanding on the idea! Can't wait for more! |
angel-kamui chapter 4 . 2/3/2018 Kristen don't bottle things up, is unhealthy. :( Thanks for the update. :) |
Melindaleo chapter 4 . 2/3/2018 I thought she gave him one really good piece of advice in that he should share some of what he just shared with her, with Lucas. She should probably try and take her own advice! I was happy to hear a bit about Bobby in there. It helped to explain why Nathen seemed so off. |
angel-kamui chapter 3 . 2/2/2018 I'm glad to see you back! :) I read the story 'Nathan's Dilemma'. Is really good. I'm keeping an eye out on this one. |
Melindaleo chapter 3 . 2/2/2018 I find myself wondering what happened to James. Your Nathan is very different in this story than he's been in the others. He's been through the rebellious teenage years before with his own son, so I wonder what he's thinking and if this is bringing back some memories that he's finding it difficult to deal with, as well. Above all else, the thing that stuck with me the most was the terror in Lucas' eyes. I can't help but wonder what he's remembering. It's hard to see him afraid of the captain. I'm eager for more! |
Melindaleo chapter 2 . 2/2/2018 Yipes! Not sure if she was right to interfere there or not. Its an intriguing angle of Kristin being the one to suffer child abuse. I've always suspected it was what Lucas came from, Perhaps it's something the two of them can bond over. Lucky me - I've got one more chapter ready to go! |
Melindaleo chapter 1 . 2/2/2018 Hey Stranger! It's nice to read your work again! I haven't read the other story - I think you know I'm more of a Lucas fan than a Kristin, but I was so delighted to see a SeaQuest story, I couldn't resist. Eager to see what it is that's bothering Lucas. I always enjoy seeing him bond with the captain. I cringed a little at the spanking - not because I'm opposed, just at 14, Lucas seems a bit old, but I'm willing to go with it for the sake of the story. It's really nice to read your work again. |
Fan chapter 1 . 2/2/2018 Yay! So glad to see you back in this fandom again, Jenny. I've missed your stories but I knew you were busy with the new baby. I will be reading and reviewing your story as often as possible. There are so few writers that write for SeaQuest and I want to encourage the authors I like to keep writing. All of us readers so so appreciate the authors who share with us. Poor Kristin seems very upset about the situation between Nathan and Lucas. I haven't read the other story so I'm blind as to how he got himself into so much trouble. Lucas is usually quite level headed. Looking forward to more and thanks for sharing with us. |
