What the f*ck? This is beyond dumb. Kingpin would have been instantly splattered if Spider-Man punched him without holding back. Fisk is just a normal human. Even Daredevil's hits have done more damage than that!

You've been downgrading Spider-Man a lot in this story, but this is WAYYY too far. I can't read a story written about someone that legitimately thinks that freaking Kingpin is even remotely comparable, let alone stronger than Spider-Man. I mean, that's utterly ludicrous! Spider-Man punched Scorpion's jaw clean off on accident, and Gargan is a superhuman and one of Spider-Man's tougher foes!

To be fair, anyone who knows their Spidey would have guessed it was MJ, red hair or not. She IS the girl next door that Pete's keep missing in the 616 comics. You could have said blond, meaning Gwen or something, and my reaction would have been "why has MJ dyed her glorious red hair?"

With regards to aura, all animals are said to have it, and since it is the manifestation of the wielder’s soul, it makes sense for him to have it. That being said, as Ren says in volume 5, it takes intense concentration at first to keep it up during a fight, so it also makes sense for him to struggle with this at first, since he’s constantly strategising and stuff. Plus he hasn’t had any training in using his aura (something that I’m pretty sure happens at the combat schools that students go to before attending the huntsman academies, as they all seem to know what they are doing with that at the start) so it would likely take him a long time to figure it out on his own.

Sorry for the ridiculously long sentences, it’s something I struggle with when explaining my thoughts on things since that’s how they happen in my head and I’m not great at breaking them up into shorter ones. — case and point

Again, love the story, it really shows how much you care about the characters and worlds you’re writing from. Keep up the good work :P
