That was a seriously dark murder! The extended darkness really must put a strain on people's minds. The image of Ignis bathing his son is adorable, especially with the soap in his hair. To freakin cute! And his way of flirting with Aranea is also quite adorable. I don't think I can get enough of the cuteness that is this small family. All the little moments with Amadaeus make me think of when my little owl does the same things (good god does she love to go for glasses!) Hahahaha I loved Aranea's quip "the cock block glutton" XD Oh LOORRRDDD the baby looking around while latched... I feel your pain Aranea... I feel your pain. And yes Aranea, the first time you hear Madaeus bump his head will break your heart... oh my god I nearly cried with the way my little owl wailed when she hit her head for the first time. Is this whole review going to be me being that annoying parent who gushes about their baby? It's so cute picturing Amadaeus eating because again, it reminds me of my little owl :) and good call Iggy on peas, sweet but still a green veggie.

Poor Iggy... all he can think about is that future fate of Noctis and now his friends are in the hospital. And then poor Crowe to go into labor now of all times. The poor girl can't even wear her ring, can't have her man by her side...

And poor Gladio is really out of it, and missing the birth of his daughter. Absolutely heartbreaking. But at least he's okay! And that was ADORABLE that they put the phone on speaker for Gladio so he could hear his baby.

Poor Iggy... but at least now he's not keeping that dark secret to hiimself and can confide in Aranea that he's already mourning Noct's future death

I appreciate how the fact the bros are helping keep things together isn't just a magic fix, and people are still unhappy. Makes it feel like the world of ruin is more realistic. And poor Aranea, her confidence is so shot but Ignis is just still as enamored with her as always. Simply adorbale. And he certainly chased away her doubts of intimacy! I love her blunt form of flirting once he got her to break through those barriers. I like how our usually perpetually calm and in-control Ignis enjoys surrendering control to Aranea in bed, I can't see him doing this in any other circumstance. Must be very difficult for Ignis to change a diaper and make sure little Amadaeus is clean, and it must take a lot of trust from Aranea!
Aw... poor little Amadaeus, his first infection. Must be terrifying for the pair in the world of ruin with such limited resources! Okay and the fact that Aranea makes a little vocal cue when she wants Iggy to hold her hand is just TOO friggin adorable. I just love the way she's adapted to his blindness and finding alternate ways to communicate with him since he can't see her body language or facial expressions. I just love the dynamic of these two in general :) Also, there is absolutely nothing more heartwarming than baby's first giggle! Oh my lord I exploded a little with my little one's first giggle :)

Oh poor Aranea. With how tough she is its cute to see her all nervous. I would have probably literally panicked if I went into labor outside of my house and the mister didn't answer my first call. I like how her tone is calm with Iggy At first despite her fear.
And oh Vyv… incurring the wrath of a woman in labor? You messed up bro.
Poor Iggy… not being able to be the one to carry her.
Good. Lord. I can so relate to that seafood line. 9 months of avoiding certain foods was torture lol. When Iggy’s hand is squeezed made me giggle a little. During a nasty contraction I squeezed the mister’s hand and he proclaimed “THAT'S the finger breaking grip everyone jokes about!”
I like how quickly Prompto jumps at the chance to be useful, even if its just grabbing coffee. And poor Iggy… the poor man needs to realize how strong he is even without his sight!

Prompto and Cindy being a physical on/off thing seems to really fit. But it's probably because I don't personally ship them lol.
I likes the descriptions during her labor. The way Aranea reacts to meeting the baby is so damn adorable! And Iggy too. When the mister met our baby he burst into tears it was so adorable lol.
Poor Aranea… she must have been terrified! And of course Iggy would research complications in medical texts… I loved his little inner monologue/prayer as she goes to the OR.
I really love how Iggy uses his hands to see Amadeaus. And how his insecurities beg8n to soothe.

now that I have finished gushing over highspecs. I love this whole thing. as a slice of life piece it is beautifully written, not mention it really does have realism to it. totally can relate to a pregnant Aranea on so many levels. I love how this is playing out. So excited to see when this one updates as well

I love this. It's so cute and lovely, and the pair seem to fit very well together. I think you write Ignis very nicely, covering some of the doubts he has which are implied in the game. There's a great balance of drama and fluff, and your dialogue is excellent. Looking forward to reading more!

I absolutely adore this chapter. Iggy is my favorite of the chocbros (as you know) so an Ignea story was just what my heart needed. I like how you show the progression of just a little bit of casual fun, to seeking comfort, to friendship, to more. Really made their relationship feel real. The fluff is very sweet, and I like seeing their tender moments together. Their dropping of the "L" word was quite adorable, and I enjoyed how Ignis felt Aranea's expression. The way she was so hesitant to bring up the subject of having kids was quite cute! D Wonderful story as always dear!
