I searched Mace Windu fanfics on a whim and I didn’t expect to find such a gem but I’m very glad I did!

Most fics about the office confrontation usually involve Anakin not turning to the dark side, so it’s a breath of fresh air to see a story that doesn’t take the easy route.

I really love your characterization of Windu. I never considered the guilt he might have felt before reading this, but I find it greatly compelling exploration of his character.

Besides the movie and accompanying soundtrack, I found little else that can convey the emotion order 66 brought to me.

You have managed to capture the emotion of a surviving jedi extremely well. It feels like I'm in Windu's shoes.
