LoveGlutton chapter 11 . 8/12/2019 God... the end like that... that his quirk got aizawa pissed enough to expel them all... jeez |
Alchemeister chapter 11 . 9/21/2018 I love this! I could see this as an arc in the canon storyline! Great work! |
Shiranai Atsune chapter 11 . 3/17/2018 Awww, over already? I'm gonna miss this! Great fanfic, btw! |
VanishingVali chapter 7 . 2/22/2018 Kinda tired right now, so I'll make this quick. So even Aizawa doesn't know why it was that bad that day? Jeez, this gets more mysterious by the minute. Of the students from the last 2 chapters, my fav has to be Juroku. To have the willpower to fight off the control and the determination to not follow in his dads footsteps, he seemed fit to be a true hero. Eigaku is cool too, if a little cocky. Hebime I feel bad for, she could have easily turned into a villain by the darkness that is School Bullying. At least she didn't go through with it, and potentially has some new friends in Shouji and Tokoyami. Poor Minari though. Wrong place, wrong time. That said, it seems the culprit may finally be identified: The other recommendation student. The fact he was smiling the entire time, even after the news is major suspicious. I wouldn't be surprised if this was all one long con for him, in the hopes of developing an army just to get Aizawa. He could very well be the son of a Villian and be the opposite of Juroku. In that while Juroku tried to get out of his dad's shadow, this guy wants to follow in it. |
VanishingVali chapter 5 . 2/12/2018 Again, typing as I read. So, based on their quirks it would seem Souji is E-Vac, and Souichi is Mr. E. Still, now it makes sense as to why the others didn't apply. We've met Noriko already, but I don't think we've seen Minari. Wonder if they'll come up again. So these two just wanted to please their parents to show their gratitude, yet Aizawa expelling them screwed them over. Seeing as they aimed to make money to repay the tuition, I'm already guessing they joined up for the same reason as Noriko: Money. And they follow the strategy I thought up of, but it was easy to guess considering Bakugou tends to be a good strategist in battle and that he'd more than likely come to that conclusion. I failed to account for the front however, having thought Mister E's warp would keep him away from Bakugo. Here in lies the flaw of Kirishima fighting with someone as a team: he's a double edged sword, just as capable of injuring his ally as he is enemy. Hilarious counter plan from Bakugou though. He'd definitely do that in Canon, just ask Deku. And now I get why you said they would have a much more believable reason. They're being controlled. Something is influencing their minds to give into pure rage and abandon their inhibitions, while amplifying the negative feelings they had. This could explain why Noriko seemed out of it. Was Houseki under a similar state? And just who is doing this? Maybe Eigaku? He seems to be genuinely pissed with Aizawa and just as warped, but I question how his Imagination Quirk could control someone. Souichi didn't say it was him either. As for Recommendation, the only one we know to have gotten in on Recommendation though is Houseki. And none of the other students seemed to have quirks like that. Is it a 13th student? Or is it a red herring? E-Vac managed to rob Ojiro of sight, but considering Ojiro practices Martial Arts and has access to three means of doing so, I wouldn't be surprised it he could detect where Mr. E was coming from just by feeling for Vibrations in the ground, like Toph. ...Or Jiro could do that. That works. Ahh, he uses the Kenpachi Zaraki method of letting himself get hit to find his enemy and then grabbing onto them. Makes sense that he wear a Rubber Suit if Mr. Jamming-Way is gonna be an opponent. But he seems to have forgotten one key detail: Jiro likes to stab people with her Jacks, particularly in the head. She also likes to poke fun at Mr. Zappy, which is always nice to see. The Twins I do like, they have understandable reasons to be angry with Aizawa, and are less guilty considering the implication they were controlled during this. So 3 out of 12 I like right now, 1 I'm wondering about, and 8 I'm still on the fence for. Keep it up! |
LordAzrael1 chapter 4 . 2/8/2018 Good chapter, can't wait for more! |
DigiXBot chapter 4 . 2/8/2018 They are those like Black Diamond, who have heart-filled reasons for vengeance... And those like Noriko who are only paid to join. |
VanishingVali chapter 4 . 2/8/2018 I'm typing this as I read, so there may be some conflicting opinions. Okay, Houseki/Black Diamond I do feel bad for. But that doesn't justify killing the others! She's turning into Brass Knuckle by doing so, taking her anger out on those that are undeserving of it. I will say, I never did like how Aizawa expelled his old students, but did think he had his reasoning. But this? This was messed up. Did Aizawa even hear what happened to her? If so, he better have felt sorry for what happened. He's not at fault for what happened, but he could at least have a little sympathy for a girl whose life was turned upside down starting with him expelling her. It would seem she picked up a fighting style like that because of Brass Knuckle, given his name would imply a brawler esque hero. She's living in his shadow. Brass Knuckle is near Endeavor in the shitty parent category, and like Todoroki, Houseki can't help but focus on him. Still geez Yaomomo must be looking sickly about now. Seeing as her quirk makes things out of her body fat, she's probably looking a little malnourished after all the stuff she made. I still don't understand Aizawa's reasoning for expelling her though if it was only after the QuirkExamination. She's able to maintain her form twice as long as even Kirishima, yet his current time was only after hard training, and not the same as his entrance exam. So just why did he expel Houseki? - Well, there goes my idea on Sero getting them out of there. Granted, provided they can withstand boiling water, Mineta could always use his PopOff to make footholds in the water for him to hop across, and then help Sero and Mina out. Nevermind then, my plan actually did work. Just not how I expected. Mineta's gonna have a headache for a bit. And so we have another student. So that makes 12 out of 20 students that decided to murder the others just out of revenge. Talk about a coincidence they all got the most dickish of teachers in UA. (Aizawa's nice, but he can be a real dick sometimes) Okay, again, nevermind. He is just being paid... WHICH IS EVEN WORSE! This dumbass is willing to kill kids just for money?! How was he ever qualified to be a hero?! Aizawa was right to expel this jackass! Okay, so he wasn't expelled from U.A. Just the hero course. He just transferred to the General Course. He's the reverse Shinsou. And what the hell?! This dumbass is even more of a slacker than Shikamaru! And he still was willing to do this just for money?! By god is he an idiot. At least Ashido got some time to shine and deal the finishing blow to him. Mina Ashido is my absolute fave of the girls, and I love seeing people and Horikoshi giving her some time to shine. - So one of the now 12 I actually do sympathize with, and considering how she and Yaoyorozu smiled at each other, there may be hope for Houseki. Hopefully she gets off light, cause if you do more MHA fics after this, I think she can be a recurring OC. But another of the 12 I now wonder what the hell is going on in his head. Was he stoned or something when he agreed to this? He also raises an interesting plot point. Why didn't the other 11 just transfer into the General Course? Shinsou made it clear that teachers can choose to drop students in the Hero Course and move those in the General Course into the Hero Course if they impress them enough. These guys could have easily showed off their skills in the Festival and get transferred into the Hero Course again. I doubt Aizawa would be there teacher again, and if he was, he'd have to acknowledge they have some skill, and wouldn't be able to expel them immediately lest U.A. come under fire for looking like a Teacher has a vendetta against a bunch of kids. Keep it up! |
VanishingVali chapter 3 . 2/5/2018 By god these students are petty as fuck. There's another reason Aizawa expelled them: They don't have the will to be heroes. These ex-students would all rather murder another group of kids out of vengeance rather than just reapply next year, or just apply at another school like Shinketsu. But to go this far just to spite a teacher. They would have never been real heroes had they stayed. They would have been around the likes of Endeavor, and since he seems to be having a Redemption Arc set up, they'd be even worse. They're bullies, plain and simple, worse than the likes of Bakugo pre-development. They don't want to be heroes, they just want to be strong, and since Aizawa bruised their ego, they have become villains. At least not all of them went that route, eleven of them seem to have just moved on with their lives. Aside from that, some of them have interesting quirks. Black Diamond and Imagination seem interesting in particular. As for how to beat them, well, they seem to have overlooked some key points. Medusa may be able to paralyze Shouji and Tokoyami, but Dark Shadow can still move if Tokoyomi is stuck, as the exam against Ectoplasm showed. And in a dark studio, Dark Shadow will be more than willing to tear Medusa to shreds. Mister E. May be able to teleport, but Bakugo's Wide Range blasts will leave him with little room to teleport, and if Kirishima sticks to Bakugo's back, then Mister E. can't get any sneak attacks. Yao-Momo's dress may be of a more durable material, but heat can easily cause stuff like elastic and rubber to compress, while cold can cause it to expand. Todoroki need only modify the temperature, and Yao-Momo need only make something large come out her back like during the USJ, and that dress is gone. And like Kirishima, Black Diamond should have a limit to her quirk, meaning Todoroki just needs to alternate between freezing and torching her. E-Vac may be able to deprive people of their senses, but Kaminari and Jirou don't need theirs to fight. Kaminari's Omnidirectional Blast can hit everything around him, and with Ojiro's maneuverability and the chance to grab Jirou, he's free to use it. And Jirou's Earphone Jack's work as improptu stabbing weapons, and can extend. Meaning she can provide Ojiro cover. And seeing as with his tail Ojiro has one more appendage then E-Vac, he's got this fight in the bag. Go-Go-Rilla may have the strength of a Gorilla, but Satou's strength is pretty top notch, seeing as pure sugar let him repeatedly break through cement with some simple punches without suffering fatigue, only slowing down as his Quirk's negative effect took hold, so he should be able to beat that Gorilla to a pulp. Plus, while he's distracted, Hagakure can easily strip and sneak attack him, while Kouda can work on calming the animals down and getting their aid. Ashido should be able to melt her bonds with acid, and Sero and Mineta should be able to help themselves get away with tape and Pop-Off. I'm worried about dealing with Bow Down, Cavalier, and Kantoku. Unless Ochako can touch something, she and Tsuyu are at Bow Down's mercy. Tsuyu may be able to move her tongue, but he could just increase the gravity on it. Cavalier seems to have a Stalagmite quirk, so until Iida can get those boots off, Aoyama will have to deal with that and Cavalier's sword. And since Aoyama can't handle rapid fire blasts without risk of Diarrhea, Iida has to move fast. It's even worse if Cavalier isn't the one with the Stalagmite Quirk, meaning they have to deal with two enemies. As for Kantoku, I have no idea what to make of him. He seems to be the product of the Imagination Quirk, and is independent of Black Diamond, so his handler is still missing. And there is no way to gauge his abilities outside of the theoretical "Panda". So even if Deku can beat Kantoku, his handler is another story. As for Aizawa and All Might against Eigaku, I'm certain that won't come till later, as Eigaku seems to be a sadist and wants Aizawa to suffer, so he screams "Final Boss" in all of this. His quirk is confusing though. He had lights ready to blind Aizawa's Erase Quirk, and his voice seemed to be Omnidirectional, so I can't fathom what it is, or if any of that was his quirk or just equipment like stage lights and microphones being used. Keep up the good work man! |
DigiXBot chapter 3 . 2/4/2018 Oh boy, things are going ruff for class 1A. Hope they can make it through. By the way, love the quirks of the Rejected. As well as how cleverly they counteracted the 1A's. |
VanishingVali chapter 2 . 2/3/2018 ... Welp, I think UA is gonna have a new Panda Skin rug for their lounge. I just hope they can still finish the movie even after kicking the ass of this stupid panda. Just let Bakugo at him. Probably be pissed he was forced to listen to a villain, blow him up a few times, then toss him to Aizawa to be tied up. Dumb Panda has no idea what he's dealing with anyway. These kids can easily whip his ass to next sunday and back if given the okay. Plus, I admit I just wanna see his ass get kicked for yelling at Mina and Tokoyami. NO ONE YELLS AT MY ALIEN QUEEN AND BIRBOI AND GETS AWAY WITH IT! |
DigiXBot chapter 2 . 2/1/2018 This is amazing! The characters feel so in character that I feel this an OVA. |
HotSoup2017 chapter 1 . 1/29/2018 VERY INTERESTING INDEED. I like the whole cinema project they're having and i can almost imagine it as canon material. There are also some pairing hints here and there. Was honestly not surprised with their roles tho. This is gonna be a fun ride indeed. |
