It just feels fitting for the end of the fic. And I dunno why but like I had a moment of semi-epiphany that this is the end of the fic for like 0.2 seconds and I had emotions about that

Good lord that was hard to read. It was beautifully written with so much depth and emotion. I just spent the last two hours reading it... but man it was hard. I struggle with concerns about my step dad liking me, so this really hit home in a weird weird way for me. But I couldn’t stop reading. I’d love a mini sequel! I’m emotionally drained from reading this. Good job I really enjoyed it.

Like bud, take off your narrow-sighted Hate Glasses and take a good look around. Poor Danny. He does not deserve this.

Oh wow.. I recently decided to check this story again to see if it updated as I had been keeping track of it since it came out and my god this story is amazingly depressing. I thought Disparaged was intense, I teared up in that one for sure, but this one.. This one made me straight up cry, not many fics have that affect on me, this one was somehow just so much sadder and depressing, and did hit a bit close to home at times. Honestly this was such an amazing read I absolutely love your writing, you have such good characterization, you have an amazing way of drawing readers in completely, and it's so easy to visualize what's going on, I just love when I can fully immerse myself in reading. Seriously you did such a superb job thank you so much for sharing your stories, I'm wishing you well please take care and keep your spirits up, you're doing great. :)

Seeing the reveal and ending from Jack's pov was chilling and heartbreaking. This thoughts about Phantom are just brutal and sickening. And it's really disheartening that the reveal really didn't solve that many problems, especially between Danny and his dad's relationship. I would love to see that bonus follow up so I really hope you are able to write it.
