Hey! I’m glad that you are continuing with this story! For me, I always thought of Kaito’s wings being clipped as a metaphor for him loosing his sense of morality. The persona of Kid represents joy and hope, along with good morals. But if he isn’t careful than he can easily become a “crow” and kill someone. And his wings being coated in blood basically means that he has killed and is similar to the saying “to have blood on your hands”. The clipping of his wings could be seen as a loss of innocence as he crosses a moral line and can never soar high in the sky (like taking the high ground) like the dove that he once was.

Idk, that’s just my view. I hope it helps! I really hope that Conan can prevent him from becoming a crow. I can wait to read your next chapter! :)
