Hermione Blackwood chapter 17 . 4/15 These two idiots, smh lol |
The Prophet Of Lies chapter 51 . 3/10 Such a magical work of art, this is quite the slow burn and one of my favorites. I can't wait to see where you take it |
FireInLife chapter 51 . 3/5 Definitely no worries about a late chapter! I can definitely understand the trap that is Detective Conan haha. And speaking of Detective Conan...if you haven't watched the movies yet, make sure you do! They're soooo good. Best anime movies out there. |
Noies chapter 50 . 1/17 Ranma and Hibari merge so well as a crossover. Being from the same era and sharing the same setting (give or take). This is like the perfect blend of everything I wanted from the two series individually. I think its very clear in the manga that Ranma is either gender fluid or trans fem, and it goes without saying that Hibari is a trans woman in her manga. No significant aspect of either of these titular character's backstories/ setting were left out. Got most of the story arcs from Ranma 1/2 at least ( I don't remember the plot lines of Stop! Hibari-kun! nearly as well) I think its great that they have each other. Hibari had a strong identity, and was confident even with everyone giving her bullshit of not accepting her identity. The reality of Ranma's situation was similarly horrible. Being sexually assaulted daily, while being physically and verbally abused by her father and someone she had romantic feelings for. She more or less found her way, it must have been lonely though. I always had sympathy for poor Ranma-chan. I guess my biggest hope for this is that there something interesting planned for 'boy' meets mom. Not that Hibari and Ranma can't carry the 'show' by themselves, they can. Nodoka is a very polarizing character. I think nodoka and her agreement with Genma is what really solidifies Ranma as a trans woman (or at least my interpretation, could just as easily make her genderfluid, the only thing I don't think she could be is cis male). Its unfortunately not so uncommon for parents to decide they would rather have a dead 'son' than a living daughter. My understanding has always been that she sent Ranma away because she was acting like a girl, which is obviously why the stipulations were what they were. I'm not sure what I'm hoping for from Nodoka, she always end up either very accepting or as the sword swinging maniac she is in the manga. Maybe with Hibari there to help her Ranma won't be as lonely and desperate for her mother's love. Or maybe she'll still end up in tears, who knows. I'm counting on you to make it satisfying, ne~? anyway, thanks for the story, I love it so far. feels good. Cheers |
DeepFriedMabel chapter 49 . 11/9/2019 this was so good haha! I'm not usually a big fan of silly hijinks (im a fluff addict ), but this was super fun! i meam it's you so otc it's good, but still i love how there's like a goal behind their shenanigans and they're actually rational about looking for solutions to their predicament. ranma and hibari are so good together i stg. (also sorry for the delay between when i told you i was about to post this and actually posting it! i had it written here and then fell asleep lolol) I'm super interested in where youre going with all this, too - i hope this means there'll be more saotome/tendo interactions? obv you've been heading there for a while and it's not good to rush things, but i love how you combine these two worlds and i really wanna see them totally crash together and devolve into a bit of chaos haha. hibari's street smarts and rationality make her a bit op in the ranma-verse, and throwing some of the more wily or outright cruel ranma antagonists at her could be v fun. |
Spoiled Milk chapter 17 . 10/17/2019 This fic is neither Ranma 1/2 nor Stop! Hibari-Kun!. To be frank, it's not all that good. I know it seems strange to leave a comment like this without explaining why, but while typing this I just lost the motivation to do so. I'll just say it's not for me and leave it at that. |
gump1098 chapter 48 . 9/27/2019 This is really like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. |
Guest chapter 48 . 8/30/2019 I really like this story. The way you focus on gender first, and martial arts second is a nice change of pace compared to other Ranma fanfiction. The way you structure your story’s plot feels great. Randomness connected in a complex web that leaves me wondering what comes next. Keep up the great work! |
DeepFriedMabel chapter 48 . 8/30/2019 ahhhh omg i love this! *pounds on the table* more. trans. more. trans. more. trans. seriously, this story, and this chapter in particular, are so lovely. the kind of queer realism, support, and growth both these universes deserve. |
NegaDruid chapter 44 . 7/11/2019 Oooh ho ho. That 'invoking Yakuza resources over something petty like sports' dig... I know the main villainess of What Do You Want? would be cringing at the admonishment! |
NegaDruid chapter 43 . 7/3/2019 Oh now this was a wonderful, glorious series! I really look forward to more! Made me really like the Stop! Hibari-kun! series! Combining it with Ranma was delightful and Hibari and Ranma make a delightfully sexy and wonderful couple. I am only imagining the fun they would have as they grew up together, coupled with their gaggle of fascinatingly bi-gendered and bisexual friends. Thanks for writing it! |
Rogue15 chapter 42 . 6/23/2019 Well, I foresee a change in interrogation tactics now... Really interested in seeing where this is going. I don't see Taro getting off as lightly as he did in Canon considered who he has just attacked. |
Terrah Dailey1 chapter 42 . 6/13/2019 Keep going. |
