As always, it is so wonderful to see you've updated. I especially enjoyed this one for the confrontation scene- as much as I like fluff, seeing angst and antagonism between Thranduil and Daenerys just adds a special thrill to the narrative, in addition to sticking more to their characters, with Thranduil's icy temper and Dany's fiery disposition. Thank you so much for a lovely update and looking forward ot next time

This is a fabulous tale, and I love everything about it. I’m always on the fence about Dany, more dislike than like, I’m afraid, so I’m really happy to find an author who portrays her in a very good light. Bravo to you for making your dragon Queen such a likable character. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait for the next chapter.

For background, I'm a Jonerys fan (with some mixed feelings after the final), but I think I might ship this pairing now, too. I really like your first few chapters.

I was afraid Dany or Thranduil would give up too much too quickly, but it was unfounded. Things feel earned but not slow, which is the opposite of a lot of crossovers. Well done. The world feels real, too (the other elves, even the forest and elements). And the small touches, like Thranduil's interest in Valeryan and Dany's affinity for elven lore or her admiringly thinking him akin to Aegon, are great. Some of it might be foreshadowing, but it's not over done.

I hope Thranduil challenges Dany the same way she challenged him to rethink his prejudice to dragons (e.g. questioning the differences between a queen and conqueror). I dug that.

Anyway, great start and thanks for writing.

I loved the almost relaxed lovers pace here. A calm from the drama and looming threat! Hoe Thranduil gets those fortifications sorted! Getting me inspired to write my own! I like your take on how Thranduil views himself and his identity!
