Well, the problem is that the logic Naruto used is nonsense and Sasuke should know it. There's no basis for ANBU being the jounin of jounin. They're just special ops and I think that Chuunin can join them. Jounin of jounin would be kages and S ranked shinobi.

Itachi was raised during a war while Sasuke wasn't. Itachi was presumably trained by the likely S class Fugaku and perhaps Shisui while Sasuke pretty much trained himself for 5 years. Even before then Fugaku had only started training Sasuke after Itachi went wild. The times Sasuke actually received focused training his skill level skyrocketed. We see this during the chuunin exam. He learns lightning manipulation, the chidori, and improves his speed enough to match Lee's in just 2 weeks. That pretty much invalidates any age comparisons between the two.

What Sasuke needs most is focused training and Kakashi has shown that he's not willing to do so if Sasuke isn't in danger of dying.

That said it's not bad for a parody.

Not a bad parody; however, fairly obtuse in reasoning. Sasuke's conviction has a lot to do with Japanese morality rather than what you cooked up. Again, it's "Parody", so I'll let it go. Hopefully, you didn't try to slip "I'm so logical" into this, because that would be really, really silly as Orochimaru (someone who doesn't posses Uchiha blood and Sharingan to combat the Mangekyou) being defeated at Itachi's hands isn't even remotely the same as Sasuke's desire to battle him with his natural ability to counter the Sharingan. (Sasuke was fully aware of this, too.) Hopefully, you really didn't try to squeeze "I'm so logical" into this.

That and Itachi, along with many others, were promoted to higher ranks due to "Times of War". This is explicitly mentioned and alluded to thrice in the manga. Itachi's literally a dullard compared to what Sasuke accomplished in his mid-teens.

That aside, clean fiction, good structure, and whilst the prose is sparse, it works where it's used. Good one-shot, as despite the short-comings in "logic", I still enjoyed it.

As short as it is...it's still about 50% too long.

Why do you think Konoha can beat Itachi? Orochimaru challenged him, got his ass kicked, but at least he managed to retreat in one piece, all by himself. Konoha's best ninja challenged Itachi and was destroyed so hard that he was in a hospital care for days.
Plus Orochimaru is much stronger then Konoha at the moment, after all, he just played two great villages into killing each other and murdered a "God of Shinobi" in the middle of his own village.
And of course, Sakura's broken heart is the most important thing in the world.

Talk no Jutsu is the most OP skill that Naruto has. Too bad he ddi not use it on Kaguya, I am sure eh would have convinced her somewhat.
