I know I already mentioned this on Chambers, but I'm a big fan of the idea that part of Mab survives because of Merlin's memory of her, and I feel like the miniseries and books really handwaved this point. I like that you've left the ending slightly inconclusive too, meaning the reader could see it as simply Merlin's regretful imagination, or Mab's actual voice.
