I never thought the Visored taking up their old positions was a logical part of the plot. Though in Shinji's case I wouldn't be surprised if he just went back to pick up the mess that the one he was unable to stop left behind...

And there simply aren't enough fics where either Shinji or Ichigo take these kind of roles in a relationship (which for some reason is rather the way I tend to write them, so I'm really happy to have found this)

Poor Ichigo! Is there a way for him to remember at all? If only Uryu could even hint that things aren't how they seem. If he gets his Shinigami powers back won't his spirits tell him or wouldn't they remember either? So you skipped the fullering thing so ichigo would be powerless? Or did the Quincy move sooner and if so why? Because of Ichigo being an easy target yet potentially one of the Shinigami's more powerful fighters? How did they nab his soul? Please say he'll remember Shinji or fall for him again?
