If Izuku is going to continue down this path, I feel that he should be more jaded or at least a bit broken on the inside. Yes he can still go down the path of being a great hero and following in All Mights footsteps, but not without some serious baggage. I suggest thinking about abandonment issues that Izuku may have that he either internalizes/externalizations or both. There could also be a twist since he is quirkless at this time, that he has to grow up in one of the terrible government orphanages that were created in the My Hero Academia world that created a plethora of villains. While Izuku might be a sweet boy he is quirkless and that almost causes some forms of second class treatment from what I have read, so I doubt anyone would adopt him unless certain circumstances. He doesn’t have to go down the villain path because of this, but it would be an easy Segway into it if you wanted. Alternatively he could live by growing up on the streets, although I am not sure how he would be able to enter into the hero academy with this route without having a quirk, because even if all might still have him his quirk, he wouldn’t have the education level to function in a high school setting.
