This was not one of your better stories. Too many unanswered questions. Why was were there not a DNA comparison. Martin had spent a short amount of time with Rick and Kate so his immediately spotting Ricks eyes in Natalya is slim to none. Other things like Matin telling strangers he was a CIA agent. Martin finding a job should not be a problem. He could even stay with the CIA which is a Government Agency. The CIA has numerous positions that do not require spying or he could apply to another agency.

Spy Thriller is a nice change of pace from murder mysteries. Nice development of the Danberg character.

Whew! I was holding my breath when that agent pulled them away, but should have seen that coming. I was also afraid some Russian spys would intercept them. Thankfully, they didn't.

I like the concept for the story, but I speed read it because I didn't care even a little about Martin and Maya. I was much more interested in Natalya and her future as a Castle. I was also hoping for more action with the Russians trying to get the child back and her programming. Confiding in the families on the ship makes no sense since he really doesn't know them and adds a layer of risk if the Russians manage to trace them to the ship and puts the families in danger for the same reason. Realistically, I would think they'd lay low in the ship just in case. Still, I like the over all concept and hope you write a sequel that focuses on the parts of the story I'd like to read about.

And now for the next stage. Castle has some adjusting to do, even if he doesn't know it yet.

I’m still having issues with a story based on an insignificant character in two episodes of Castle. I hope we do get Castle and Beckett in the story a lot more than so far.
