I was thinking at the beginning that a call would solve most the problems, then the rest of the chapter happened. No matter if Jaune called home, nothing would stop, the die has been casted.

This chapter was intense, and the Soul eater yet lives. Still good to see Jaune developing as a person.

Both sides are definitely in the wrong though. They are also right some degree.

Jaune for putting himself in danger and keeping secrets. Jaune knew that if you're going behind someones back and it'll make them worry, it's unsurprising that they'd react negatively. Something like that makes someone lose trust and faith in a person. Running away only compounds the issue, running away only makes it seem like you something to hide.

The Arc's for not making much of any effort to reach out to him. Beyond, the 'hey are you, doing alright champ?" "Yeah, just fine." Saying something like that to someone who is being withdrawn and distant isn't an attempt to reconnect or establish that they're there for them, It's a way to cover your ass to be able to say, "Well, at least we tried.'
They didn't really try to be honest, and if you're in a household with no one to connect too, then it's no wonder Jaune felt isolated.

Jaune's right to pursue his dream, he shouldn't let someone else dictate his life, or have to stay in place that makes him feel less than he is. Yeah, he's was a bit of idiot in how he handled the situation, but it was going to explode no matter what.

The Arc's have a right to worry about Jaune though, if after two-years of lightish practice didn't yield any results, than it make sense to stop it. When they found it out that Jaune was hanging training with some unknown man, it's worrisome indeed, even more when he has unknown goals. It's terrifying to see your family defend an Unknown more than their family.

Both sides fucked up, and now they have to deal with the consequences.

Shirou has done nothing wrong, beside being an ass.

That's it.

P.S. When Jaune and his family meet again, I don't see it going anyway beside a hard-headed clash. If they get angry and attack him verbally for running away, he would attack back just as hard, till Shirou intervenes or something

Will you ever update your other RWBY/Fate fics that involve Jaune.

Poor Jaune, if he thought Shirou is a slavedriver then he has another thing coming.

Look at EMIYA being such a proud father and Jaune made quite a show that's for sure.

My prediction for a fight that may happen between Shirou and Alexander. Their ideals will clash.

Emiya see a similar flame in Jaune like his younger self and does not want Jaune to end up like him.

Alexander Arc sees no potential in Jaune fighting abilities and so he stops training him so his son will not die a gruesome death by the Grimm.

These two ideals will clash in the future.

A raven is about to fly into the territory of the Land of Shadow and the owner does not like this raven.

This is such a great story.
I love the character dynamics and the various realistic reasonings behind each of the children's personalities.

I especially loved the confrontation of jaune and shirou talking about jaune perceiving himself as right in two similar circumstances in the two pursuing sides.

I've loved everything so far and can't wait for more.

Man, I hope you continue updating this. I really can't wait for Shirou and Artoria to meet... Who knows, Shirou might've found his way into Avalon without actually entering it.

Honestly this fanfiction is probably one of my favorites, I love how you handle the family drama and portray it like how everyone is at fault and not just how Jaune was 100% right, you have a really good story going on here, I also like how you make shirou more like a brother then a father to Jaune, I just hope you make Jaune use more magic so it doesn’t seem like he’s just Emiya alter plus he has Scáthach as a teacher so he should learn some other stuff like runes, anyway I hope you update soon because this is great.
