It's been a long time since I read anything about Minato, and about an AU one, to boot, a Minato with something like a future ahead of him. I love the fact that he stayed alive to care for Naruto. It's not perfect, not by any means, he loved Kushina and she is gone. But she got to hold her son, she got to leave Minato notes on here chakra chains, they had some time together and Minato has the memories of her. That aside, there is Mikoto and Fugaku, Shikaku and Inoichi, Kakashi, and especially Genma, and yes: Minato has enough support to not screw up monumentally.

I imagine this Naruto will be a happy boy, too, eager to learn and loved by the village and his father - and all the adoptive parents standing by, just waiting to swoop in and spoil him. Between Genma and Minato and possibly the one or other Uchiha, he'll learn a pretty cool assortment of techniques. I'm counting on Minato allying with the kyuubi enough to take Danzo and Root out of the picture, and perhaps even Madara, to the point that Naruto can grow up in peace. And while I don't want Naruto to be cursed by the kyuubi, there might be a possibility that Kurama gets to know his host's son. They might even become friends. I hope they will.

As usual, your story-telling is superb, I especially love the title. It is not the end of all things of beauty, though, is it? Even if it feels that way just now? They pass by, one experiences them, one loses them again. But they were there, they'll be back. Somehow.

Once again, thank you for sharing this story here. I am really, really glad you still post some, now and then. I hope you're well, and that you still enjoy writing.
