Reading this for the 5th time! Thank you so much for writing this!

I know it's been a while, but I just found this and it was really good. I've actually gone back and read from the chapter where the family finds out to the end a few times. You really capture her mindset all along and then how the others react. Loved the moms and Jesus. (The grandparents early on were great too.) I feel for her so much, not just with the stalking and attack but with her struggling with her place in the family and with losing her connection to Jude. If something seemed to be bothering her siblings- especially Mariana or Jude- she would've been right there to figure it out and support them. But when they all noticed something was off, they criticized & made her feel bad instead of asking about it. Ugh I wanted to slap them (except Jesus.) Good talk and closure at the end. Seriously such good work with this.

This story is honestly so beautiful. You have an incredible way with words. Loved it so much.

I loved that the final scene was at the Kitchen Table.

Ok so I kind of like the whole talking about things-but could they have not done it in the bathroom and went to the Moms bedroom.

Gotta Jesus in this one. As for your question in the Author's Note-I actually was not picturing either of the two actors that played Jesus. I was just enjoying the story telling, based on the character.

As I stated in a previous chapter, Callie and Jesus should have had a closer relationship develop on the show, like in this story. They had a similar life pattern, he protected Mariana and she Jude. Common Ground as they say.

Callie made me cry in this chapter.

I don't like how the Moms found out about it.

Story Error: I just realized that she since Callie is under age and Liam was arrested. The Police would have went to the house and spoken with the parents of the victim, so the parents should have been told right after it happen. Just for future story arcs.

Not caring for Callie's decisions at this point.

Normally I don't blame the victim of a sexual crime-but Callie had too many people trying to be there for her and she never accepted the help. NO EXCUSE FOR THAT.

Where is Callie's brain at this this point. Stef is a cop-they can retrieve the photos from the phone-even if the account was deleted-because it will still be stored in her memory.

It too bad the show did not have Jesus and Callie interact more. I think as characters they had a lot in common-but I think the producers used the actors personal connections and used them in the show. I like what you are going with the two of them.
