Loving this story! Will you be continuing?
WildBright chapter 7 . 6/3
Great story and really well-written. I really like your vision of Lothíriel - she is not perfect, even a little frustrating at times, but she is so insecure it’s impossible not to feel for her. And her abstract moods are not born out of malice; she is very warm with the people that she lives and expects the same treatment in return. I loved the scene with Alphros and the dead fish. I knew that Ivriniel would be furious that she didn’t greet the staff but Lothíriel automatically placed her nephew‘s concern at the top of her priorities. She is constantly being m judged and found wanting that I am automatically on her side! No-one else seems to be, at least on the surface. Even Éomer agrees with her aunt’s better judgment at times.
The whole relationship with her mother is a whole other side to her character that I am aware of and interested in. Her mother’s story is tragic, to say the least, and I think that her loss had some effect on Lothíriel despite her inability to cry about it. She didn’t cry at Theoden’s funeral or the death of Suldis either, which Éomer did nite. The mention of the beautiful fountain during Eomer’s tour of Dol Amroth was interesting – interesting that she skipped over it completely like it didn’t matter, but maybe this scene has more meaning to it than it initially seems on the surface. I hope that Éomer and Lothíriel have a serious chat about it soon as they need to know what they’re getting into!
I would love to see more interactions with Erchirion, as I feel like he would definitely shed some light on the subject maybe? Lothíriel and Amrothos’s relationship is great but I think even Amrothos is flippant with his sister’s feelings. Éowyn is the only character that I think understands how Lothíriel really feels and how trapped she is. (Obviously Arwen too! She knows everything.)
Your description of Dol Amroth is also vivid and beautiful – are you inspired by any where in the world particular? I need to know so I can plan my first post lockdown holiday accordingly! This story is great – I devoured it in days – and look forward to reading more when you get round to updating. Take care! X
Ps. It would be great if she could get At least one win/moral high ground over Ivriniel at some point! But I understand if that is impossible!

I have spent my time in lockdown rereading all your stories about Lothíriel and there was so much I had forgotten about her. I have really enjoyed getting to know Lothíriel again and can’t wait for new chapters to be posted. Hope you doing well in these times.

This is so interesting!
PoemstheEarth chapter 7 . 1/28
I have been meaning to review for a while but honestly I didn't even know where to start! These last few chapters were so amazing, I can't even begin to imagine how they could be improved upon! There were so many twists and turns I wasn't expecting and I'm very excited to see how they influence the course of the story.
I absolutely loved the awkwardness between Lothiriel and Eomer; as someone who has been in a long distance relationship it felt both painful and very familiar. Poor Lothi really can't seem to catch a break with her aunt but I found it very amusing to see her language tutor had picked up on it, although who knows how long it will take Eomer haha I'm very curious to see how the political tensions in Dol Amroth develop and what it means for Lothiriel and Eomer so pleasepleaseplease update soon!

Also, and I know this might be completely irrelevant to the plot, but I really feel for Lothiriel and the fact that she wants so badly to show Eomer Tarnost (?) but the fact that she seems to be thwarted at every turn just makes me want it to happen even more!

wonderful continuation of the story!
Wordspin chapter 7 . 1/27
Oh, that tournament! Can the sparks between Lothi and Eomer be any more evident? I loved all of it! Seriously, I'm at a loss for words right now.
Wordspin chapter 6 . 1/27
I do so love how nicely Lothíriel's thoughts are revealed, how vividly illustrated. Her frustration with her aunt and hee not being able to be herself are shown in an absolutely beautiful manner. Her little scheme to get Eomer on his own and talk is brilliant, and it's a pity it's thwarted. Little Alphros is adorable, and the whole fish affair... so relatable. Amrothos and Lammaenis... I admit that is unexpected. I absolutely love their banter, and Lothíriel's being her witty, stubborn, steadfast self is just perfect!
Wordspin chapter 5 . 1/27
Beautiful chapter! I do so love all the descriptions! Thet are so vivid and real! And like Eomer, I can't help but wonder at Lothiriel's sudden change in manner. The fact that she is to be Queen, perhaps, and what would people think to see her act "unlady-like"?
