So, its been 2yrs. When are you gunna update this fic?

Well, I doubt it'll happen because this story's been dead for nearly two years now, but after giving this a readthrough I hope it makes a comeback! You actually have a pretty unique premise in the form of actually giving Kylo Ren an equal, someone he HAS to fight if he wants to be succesful and who else is it but Jaune Arc?

A dude who just wants to be a hero.

Sure he's been tempered by an AU family situation (one where it actually makes sense that he's a bit forgotten (after all, four wives and ten kids, with seemingly no end in sight? Talk about a group of people unfit to raise a family, especially if any type of favoritism's involved)) and having a mentor in the form of Luke, who oddly enough keeps Jaune a teenager in odd ways. But he's still the same dude as he was in canon.

Just a Jedi with prodigious skill in using the Force.

Which is awesome. Everything else just comes together perfectly, from the odd teams which seem to emphasize all out assault (Team Jaybird) and heavy hit-and-run tactics (Team Roadrunner), which is fitting in its own odd way. Makes sure the two teams can constantly cover for the others supposed "weakness", while allowing room for even Jaune to learn. He has Ben's old lightsaber which is a really nice touch, Jaune has a thing for Faunus which is amusing, he's a good blend of a confident version of his own character while having plenty of visible Jedi traits, he has two lightsabers (one being GOLD, of all things, fuck yeah) which opens up a lot of REALLY cool opportunities for fights, he's good with the Force and learns at such a rate that he'll be more than prepared for the coming arcs, which is awesome because it means that this is also a story that could go galactic quickly. Which would be enjoyable, to say the least.

Plus - and I'm not gonna lie - even though all he did was expose Blake's enjoyment of smut, already the Jaune/Blake friendship/relationship is off to a great start along with an equally enjoyable rapport between his teammates. Just a good story all around, especially when you consider what you could do on the Star Wars side of things.

Anyways - hope to see a return here just to see how everything turns out, but if that's not in the cards then I'll just say thank you for writing what you have as it was incredibly fun to read!

This story is fantastic. Can't wait to get more on this. Especially with Hux actually showing some forethought and secretive sabotage for his own eventual gains.

hey? You dead or what? Its been quite awhile so I'm just curious as to what's going on that's halting this story.

Well, from start to this chapter, it's been an awesome tale so far.
Been loving this story showing how things would be if Luke hadn't given up, and ended up on Remnant with Jaune as his new padawan.
Does make me wonder if Rey will have a role in this story this time around.
Can't wait for next time.

I really loved Ruby's reaction when she got to check out Jaune's sabers.
