Omg this story is sooo good!

Wow! What a chapter!

Every new chapter of this story is more interesting than the last. I can't wait to see how this changes the metric on not just Hermione's resolve but Regina's plans.

I have to say, when I decided to check up on the HP x OUAT crossovers and see if there was anything new there, I didn't expect to find such a delightful read!

On principle, I'm not particularly fond of how the dichotomy between good and evil and the dualism of heroism and villainy is treated in the series. Every so often, however, fanfictions address this, well, /imbalance/ in the series and present a situation that is far closer to reality (or, at least, that is far more plausible) - those are the OUAT-related stories that I enjoy reading the most because the world /isn't/ just black and white, there are shades of grey, and people can't be neatly slotted into categories such as 'hero' and 'villain'. Take Snow White, for example - the way Hermione sees her mirrors my own view of that oh-so-beloved 'hero' (don't even get me started on what Snow and Charming did to Emma and Maleficent's unborn child - that wasn't just plain /wrong/, it was cruel and the furthest possible thing from anything that could even /remotely/ be called 'good'); Snow White, to my eyes, is no hero. I also decidedly disagree with Regina being seen as anything other than evil - rape (to name just one of her evil deeds) is one of the vilest crimes and she committed it for almost 30 years, yet somehow everyone forgot this and was outraged when Zelena did it to Robin? Ugh...).

*clears throat*
Anyway, minor rant there aside - I'm absolutely /loving/ this story and immensely enjoyed reading each and every single chapter. I particularly enjoy the complexity of the characters and I respect and applaud you for not just sweeping 'problems' such as what Hermione is experiencing under the carpet and are instead addressing them; nor are you ignoring how wrong Emma wishing to change Hermione into what /Emma/ views as right is wrong. Rumple/Gold saying what he did about never changing oneself just to please someone or gain another person's approval - I just outright clapped there. The entire story with Belle has always rubbed me wrong mainly because she all but /demands/ that Rumple/Gold change into someone /she/ deems acceptable and, basically, she just completely ignores the right every person has to be themselves. In short: if she truly /had/ loved Rumple, she'd have accepted him for who he was and would never have tried to impose/force change on him. Frankly, one of the most disappointing moments in the series for me was Belle turning up again at the end of season 1.

...okay, that devolved into another mini-rant, sorry *smiles sheepishly* Speaking of Rumple/Gold, though - I'm loving his and Hermione's interaction. I feel they could become really good friends and, admittedly, I'd not be disappointed to see something more develop between them. Both of them definitely deserve to have happiness after everything that has happened in their lives. ;)
I'm also looking forward to seeing what kind of relationship Henry and Gold/Rumple develop, especially with Hermione pointing out to Henry that he should create his own opinion instead of believe that someone is good or evil just because the book said so (and, my, what a change that is from how Hermione was when she first entered the Wizarding World - it's definitely another interesting development to observe in her).

Long review short: keep up the excellent work! I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter and I really, really hope you'll be able to write and post it soon.

I love it. I’m sorry to be cruel but Regina deserves punishment and Snow White was weak to let her go free and hurt people again. Emma is stupid for thinking that she can control Hermione. I hope Hermione does what she think is right and not let people think that she is wrong for doing what she did to Regina. I hope Hermione gets stronger when she goes to her mentor

Great chapter, Jefferson is amazing abd such a sweet guy now I can't decide with whom I want Hermione more Him or Rumple. And Rumple talk about intent and dark and light magic is awesome, Emma's decision to send her away and keep her from Henry us a bit mean and cruel Rumple don't like that eather wonder what Henry will say about it maybe Hermione should sneak to him and tell him the truth a bit and asking him whether he is angry at her too and wants her gone as well like Emma does. When push comes to shove she can hide with Jefferson. More please that would be great *cupcakes for inspiration and the great work*
