The one (constructive) criticism I would offer is that the first half reads a lot more like a summary; I think maybe because of the short paragraph upon paragraph of dry details. In comparison, the second half is a lot better, the paragraph lengths are more mixed up because there are details as well as dialogue, it's lots more descriptive, you injected a lot more fun and charm as well (eg. "except for Gail"). Great to read. I hope you write more for this fandom :) |
