Okay that chapter was pretty good and i like the whole yokai stuff that is going on. That is one of the happier parts of the story :D

Okay, slowly the story really is starting to get worse. Chikako seems most of the time pretty intellugent, but when it counts she is suddenly dumb as fuck. I know she was in a hurry because of Jiro, but she could have made it clear that she would pay with the eyes of the dead people around her. And i just hate it if the MC looses some important body part. If it would have been an important fight or anything else, but now she lost it, because of a stupid mistake. The whole fight and the in terference of Jiro just seems so fucking fabricated that you had a excuse that she would loose her eyes. Yeah i am salty as fuck and i really really hope she will get her eyes back sometimes in the future...

Good she seems to be out there, because meh. Can she get a pause? First she lost Sai and now she gets torture and nearly broke. I know this story is rather dark, but she could use a little bit of time to relax a bit... At least she didnt get mutilated, that would get me mad.

Wow to actually kill a rather important character. Its always a risky move, but i quite like it. He wasnt so important for the story and 'only' important for chikako, but that exactly makes his death so good. Well good for Chikakos character growth. Its still sad and really pains to read, but i like this descicion

Okay that was a pretty nice training i hope she gets better with her seals, because then she would have something special. I mean yeah she is good at tracking and very good at stealth, but with the seals that doesnt require to write them with ink she would get the additional attack power that she lacks a little bit in my opionion and it would be really cool if she could use a seal for using nature chakra.

Well, she doesnt know kakshi backstory, but he wouldnt have killed her. That just doesnt fit his character at all. Sure if she would have done something bad, maybe, but she is completly innocent. Meh i am happy when we are at the point where danzo dies, i really hate him and with his interference the story is rather taking a turn worse. Danzo worked in Naruto, because he didnt had to much to do with naruto and couldnt raelly influence him, but here the story is drasticlly getting worse after she fled. If she would be stronger it wouldnt be a problem, but as a reader it just isnt enjoyable that there isnt a moment of rest and she cant even see her friends...

hmm i dont know i hope she stays a little longer in the village, because she seems rather weak? At least in my perspective she is on the lower end. Well she is better than most genins, but i get the feeling she is behind the good ones. Okay she did defeat Neji, but only because she did a month of specialized training and even then, neji didnt really come as too strong at the beginning in the story.

I just wanted to say i really like your story so far. It feels way more realistic than the anime/manga(even if i like the original) and i just like that Sasuke seems a little less than an edgy arrogant asshole and Naruto seems to get less naive. And i like how they are a real team. I am still confused and not so sure if they are pack. I would guess so, because she seems to care, but she didnt mentioned. It would be a little weird if not, because she already sees Sai as such, even if they have some things similiar, i still get the feeling that she cares now about sasuke and Naruto, even with their quirks.

I'm reading this and on chapter 10, did you include a character description anywhere for Chikako or did I miss it?
