this is (what i feel) one of the best explorations if ozpin ive seen. so many like to paint him as some kind of manipulator playing god when every bit if evidence we have points to a man who is weighed down by his mistakes and the lives he failed to save, and still works to help knowing there are people out there who blame him for their misery and misfortune.

I'm so glad that you have the motivation to continue your story! I personally haven't dealt with accusations of plagiarism, but I've seen what it can do to creative minds and many a good story were left unfinished. Not to say that there aren't those who do in fact take what doesn't belong to them and try to market it as their own, but I felt like this just wasn't one of those cases. In all honesty, I had a passing thought or two that Oscar might have dreams about his past lives as he was learning how to cope with his new life. Apparently that line of thought is popular :P

I'm excited to see where this story goes! Out of curiosity, do you have an idea of how long this fiction will be? I wanna strap myself in, but I don't know how tightly I need to sit you know? I also started reading another one of your stories, "Of Serendipity and Duties of the Huntsmen" and I was ecstatic to come across another Rose Garden fan (trust me, I still don't have a clue as to why that's the ship name...)! I really think that they could be a really cute couple and I REALLY want them to be canon. Will this also be a Rose Garden fiction? It's perfectly fine if not, but my trashy shipper self was curious and so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!

Hey, just so you know, I read the other fiction. While there are some similarities in descriptions and scenes, you have to remember that we haven't been given much info on the particulars or Oscar's day-to-day merging experiences. I think it's highly possible that you and this other author had similar starting head-canon theories.

There are differences in how you versus the other author approach the "memory dream" and you are starting to involve more characters into the plot. Not to mention you planned on this being a multi-chap fiction, not a one-shot.

I really think you should continue this story because I see some really neat potential in the approach you're taking. I haven't been seeing too many Oscar-centered fictions and he's definitely one of my favorite characters even though he made a later entrance.

Even if you decide to leave the story be, I hope that you continue to write! You have good vocabulary and grammar sense. Paired with some out-of-the-box ideas, I think you really can write some gems. Please don't be discouraged! I hope you have a wonderful day regardless of the fate of this story.

I really like this! Having a bit more time dedicated to Oscar is really something I enjoy reading. Keep it up.

I have to ask, but did you read a fic called "Three Small Words" before writing this? Because there are a lot of nearly identical things to it to the themes, concept, descriptions. I understand if you got inspired and wanted to do your own version, but you should have asked permission or given credit to the original author if this is the case. It isn't fair if you read their fic, then made your own version without asking or linking back to them and get all this credit, even someone else reviewed it saying this story is familiar to one they've read before. The author of the original has even reviewed on pointing out how this is nearly identical to theirs.

This is fiction is addressing everything I wanted addressed and it is beautiful.
