I'm 8 and a half chapters in why is the word "the" nowhere to be found? It screws up the grammar of almost every paragraph.

I really enjoy this story. The plot is well thought out and it doesn’t speed through everything. I also enjoy that the background is put in there piece by piece only when something triggers the memories. I can’t wait to read more of this story and see how it continues to develop!

Wow...a few of my predictions were spot on. Wouldve thought Medusa would be a rook given how she fought in the 5th war and that could've been carried on here.

Some good stuff this is.

Ok.
Peerage wise.
Medusa as a queen or rook.
You've got Grayfia in the harem and if she can be made to leave Sirzechs' peerage (somehow) then a mutated queen.
Alexander as possibly a rook or bishop (i don't know how youve built his skillset) after he has reunited with the Carmilla faction. Itd be seen as foul play if he became a devil beforehand.
Diarmuid as a knight or both of them, perhaps a single mutated knight. That is if being a devil matches his character and is ok with it.
Kuroka as a Bishop. Cause it was mentioned she and Shirone are loyal to him.
Shirone as a pawn. How many she uses is up to you.
Siegfried as the other knight (hero faction Siegfried I mean).
Perhaps the descendant of Medea as the other Bishop.

Also i assume the Nekoshou are still around? If Gidas hasnt been killed by Kuroka theres no incentive for the genocide.

Is Tristans appearance based on that of the Tristan from Fate?

Fate was a nice addition, and look forward to seeing more of Diarmuid.
Fics with Cleria are very few and when there are, theyre not done to well. But from what ive seen of this, it looks good.
