Killerp12345 chapter 40 . 8/30 Omg... I need a new chapter. Please. I’m literally shaking after that and I need to know what happens. Please update soon. |
Guest chapter 2 . 7/26 I loved the first one, but I could care less about hestia, I came for Marco not some bullshit au on top of an au |
Isolated Polar Bear chapter 40 . 6/22 This is one heck of a way to end the second installment in this series. I knew from the previous outline for the series that the Marco v. Darcy fight would not end after a second match, but man that was brutal. It does get me wondering how a the next Book would play out in the future, especially with so many characters and plot threads weaving together. Needless to say, I enjoyed this one. |
Fanfic Critic chapter 40 . 1/18 Here you are with another chapter! I believe that you are updating monthly now, which is a nice routine. Now about this chapter, I have a lot of things to say about it. First and foremost, Marco cannot use the Traitor's Sword anymore so he is going to find new ways to fight Darcy and her army (goons). There should still be a group that can help him, no? I am thinking of that Red Hoods group with their leader Tad. They can be Marco's personal army. As for a weapon to use, there's still Hekapoo right? She is a blacksmith/forger. Maybe she can forge him new equipment. And speaking of Hekapoo, now that she is finally safe, it feels like you wrote off her rescue as an afterthought. It would have been cool to see Marco save her, and while I'm fine with Hestia doing it instead, there was no climax to it. Heck, it seems like Marco has forgotten that Darcy kidnapped Hekapoo or that she even exists. I am not sure what you are going for by writing this Marco in a way in which he is extremely obsessed with Star. I have repeatedly said that your fanfic is nothing like the show since both do not share the same premise for a Starco romance. It's completely unnatural. Since the Blood Moon Goddess was in Mewni, does that mean that she caused the sudden obsession and anger? I understand that Marco and Star are friends but his reaction was completely out of the blue. Does he not realize that there are other people on Mewni that cares about him or are you just trying to pander with Starco again? I don't want to continue to harp you on this but with each new chapter, it feels Marco is becoming more and more inconsistent with how he was from the beginning of the story till before he returned to Mewni. You even said it yourself that Marco's actions "conveyed his PAST love" for Star. This means that he does not feel romantic/sexual love for Star anymore, and that is fine since it's all part of character development for both Marco and Star. But that was 4 chapters ago, and here we are with Marco still being the same. Are you sure it's not the Blood Moon Goddess that is affecting him? Also, why has neither Marco nor the Blood Moon Goddess brought up his 1000 tasks? And why is the Blood Moon Goddess suddenly weak? Does it have to do with the spell Eclipsa put on him to remove the monster arm? Anyways, I hope nothing bad happens to Hestia. It seems like she was surprised to find whoever she found at the end of the chapter. Did she finally meet Glossaryck? I found the scenes with Hekapoo and Hestia to be extremely fun to read. I enjoy the way you have written Hestia as a character. And Hekapoo is one of my two favorite characters in the show (the other being Marco). I just want you to not neglect Hekapoo. It feels like there are traces of this story ending with a Markapoo ending (and Marcapoo is my favorite ship of all time) and I would truly welcome that. But it's not possible for this story to end with a Starco ending since it would destroy the consistency in the story and then it wouldn't be "A Fallen Dark Knight". It would just be garbage. Anyways, this was another good chapter to read. I hope the next one is even better. I hope you don't rush this story. Take your time with it, otherwise you are just going to end up with a "forever bad" fanfic. Keep up the good work. |

EROVYT chapter 40 . 1/19 It's nice to see the story progress, but I do have several questions: If Darcy regenerates, couldn't Marco just use a strong acid to counter the regeneration? Or fire to burn the wounds close? Why didn't he use the sword to do that? Or is there a limit to what the weapon can do? Also, what happened to Star's wand? |
The Book of Eli chapter 40 . 1/17 Well that's one way to ensure that you are facing a lot of problems. Also poor Hestia she ended up on Ludos rock. Lastly i think Marco might have a better chance at winning the fight if he could find another magic item to amplify his current magical skills... |
Starco4everr chapter 40 . 1/15 Great chapter |
KrashThunder chapter 40 . 1/15 Is it weird I'm expecting some sort of "And I... Am... Iron Man!" (SNAP), from Marco if he wins this battle? |
Santan Suprah chapter 34 . 1/4 not great ending to the chapter |
LucklessBlock86 chapter 39 . 12/18/2019 I've been pretty confident in Matco's abilities for awhile now, but I fear for Marco now. This is on a whole other level than anything he's ever faught before. |
The Book of Eli chapter 39 . 12/12/2019 This just went from hitting the fan to truly fucked up the creek. Marco how are you even going to win... |
paolotejadaj chapter 36 . 12/12/2019 Damn, that’s a good chapter! Man, the feels were strong in this one. I didn’t expect Hestia to join the battle, what a twist! The memories of studmuffin and vixen (why does it hurt so much?!) and the moments with star. But rage was the principal emotion. Against Darcy for hurting Marco and Hestia (Higgs), against the enemies attacking her loved ones (Hestia) and against Darcy, and I guess himself, for hurting star and not being able to protect her (Marco). Keep the great work! |
paolotejadaj chapter 35 . 12/12/2019 Great chapter! Marco is back in Mewni and no taking anybody’s shit. His charms are strong, I would say Ex rank. Even Higgs cannot escape them. She is so cute when she is flustered. I just hope Marco manages to arrive in time to save her. The interactions between Marco and the fell power reminded me of ichigo and his hollow powers. They are dark representations of themselves, and no matter how much you want to deny them, they are part of you. Although dark doesn’t necessarily means evil, but they tend to go that way. If not keep under control they will overtake them, and that will not be pretty Keep the great work! |
Starco4everr chapter 39 . 12/11/2019 Awsome chapter. I hope Marco defeats Darcy. I wonder if Star will appear soon |
