First off: the concept of Yu being crippled is brilliant. It changes stuff up and potentially shows up the baddies that even crippled guys can kick ass. There's also the impending danger that his pain will worsen and that he might drop dead. But even if that's bad, it can also let him cherish things better. He might become fatalistic though.

Huh, since you're making butterfly effects, I kinda want the others to see Yu's Shadow now. It'll be more interesting than in canon where he's the only one who faced it.

Anyway, fantastic concept. My only complaints are the spelling, walls of paragraphs, and multiple POVs in one paragraph. This fic is really awesome, and polishing it up will do great service.

Don't worry about the time it took to update.
Take as much time as you need, a good chapter every other month is better than weekly trash.

The fighting was well written, great job,
but it was a bit jarring to be outside the TV to the start of the boss battle in one line,
even if it was for a joke. I'm curious to see Yosuke's reaction to Yu's berserk fighting.
That "alter the course of fate somewhat" line has me hopeful.

Well, Yu’s guilt is justifiable considering how in theory he could have saved Saki but not knowing everything about that world it’s understandable he wouldn’t realize his power was special. Though with Yosuke having one too Now I would imagine the next time they enter the TV Yu won’t be fighting nearly as often as Yosuke. Then we have his relationships with Nanako and Kanji, his cousin is really worried about him and he cares about her so much it’s so sweet but then again... to know what’s inevitably going to happen makes these cute moments all the more tragic. At least for now things are ok and he’s bonding with Kanji too. Great chapter, looking forward to the update.

the story is as per usual great but with every other story I've read and commented on there's always at least a few words that can and should be fixed before moving on to the next chapter.

for this one, it would be the wordthru" when I first saw it in the part where Yu discovered Zio every moment of climax just went away, let me read you the partthat's when he 'saw' it within his mind, the single word that would throw the battle in his favour, the single command that would save them all, focusing as much as he possibly could, his eyes drilled into Izanagi's flailing formYou see? you had something really amazing going there, but now let's continueone word running thru his mind." you can see where I'm coming from right? If you think I'm just some prick than you can but I truly hope that you try to fix this little bit, it would help a lot in the long run.

Hi, I just found this fanfic and I really enjoy it. I love how you portray Yu in this fabric and how different his personality With his circumstances. I can't wait to see how Yu fight in the dungeon because obviously he can't wield a katana, right? well please just surprise me.

Glad to see this isn't dead!
I'm surprised that the pills were exposed so early,
could have had it kick in for a tense moment in a shadow battle.
Raging Izanagi was done quite well, can't wait to see other fights.

In regards to the AoT story,
if you barely have time to write as is another story would most likely slow any progress to a halt.
But feel free to write what you want to. That's the best way to write!

Well... I knew that was going to happen in this chapter, Yu, Yosuke, and Chie entering the TV World and fighting the Shadows for the first time. That being said it was a nice detail that Izanagi shares Yu's pain and I have a feeling that'll be a huge factor as the story progresses. Also Chie and Yosuke really came through by going back to help him despite not being able to fight... yet. Though the year has just started and there's a lot more for Yu to get through. Looking forward to seeing how things play out from here.
