So, if the previous chapter was Miguel experimenting with memory separation, then this chapter is a kind of "mini-boss" for Miguel growing stronger in his powers. Slowly seeing that what he has is going to attract attention down the line, even if this one might've been an accident to pick up La Llorona for his sister this time. The nice thing though was that clearly, the family was primed for when something horrid like this might happen, and as such, brought 4 ordinary spirit warriors to fight 1 super legend. And with combined tenacity, protecting each other, and ensuring that Miguel manages to send a long lost soul over to face the truth once again. And whatever happens from there, well, that's up to her. But since her legend's going to be around for a while, she better find time to figure it out, because that means tangentally, her family is going to be remembered for a while too, and so she's got many years to make up eventually.

Also, it's nice that even though the thief was metaphysical, the moment Pepita realized a rivera was in danger, she went straight to panic mode, and the chase was on.

I just finished reading it! It was a wonderful story! Amazing! I wish there was more! I'd love to see how things progress with Marco and more about he and Miguel crossing souls over.

I've just read this entire story today and omg it's so good! I've been squee'ing at the end of just about every chapter! I can't wait for the next part!

Lol, looks like Miguel's got even more Hector-sneak in him than Hector guessed. (Thanks for answering me about the desert.) The bell and noose were good ways to balance out the sweet stuff with the realistic clashing of child and guardian.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal! The astral projection is interesting - I wonder how he could use that. The idea of seeing both worlds at once is cool, but a little confusing. Does he have to go into the desert each time he wants to fully enter the LotD? Is the lotD superimposed onto the living world the same way at all times, or does it 'shift'?

I love that conclusion. So now we have twin physic kids, each with their own expertise of powers. That can only strengthen the both of them, and the land of the dead now has a permanent living resident, are doppelgangers alive like the human they came from? I bet Marco is going to be playing a role or perhaps a few roles in the future of this story, and we can't forget La Cruze.

Hector and Miguel have the best relationship. They're good friends, even with Hector 'dad-ing' him, and it's so nice to see that blend of family and friendship. Not to discount the other dead relatives - Miguel and Coco are adorable together in particular. Excited to see what's up with Miguel~

Well, I admit I didn’t expected Héctor to be the one who reaches out to Marco, I was sure it was going to be Coco -but I’m glad I was mistaken, because if there’s someone who knows how it feels to want to go home, is Héctor. And I’m so happy that Marco was accepted, I didn’t wanted him to disappear. And Ernesto loose his alebrijes?! Really?! Poor man! I mean, he deserves it but still, now he really is alone.
I’m really excited to know what’s going to happen now that Marco exist, what is he going to think/feel about little Socorro? Is he going to interact with the living Rivera?
