Oh, don't get me wrong. This story looks interesting. It's just that, like I said, so far this story seems more like a 'Completely Different Story' and less like a 'Rewrite'.

I was love it so much

I just left a review on this chapter several minutes ago as an unnamed guest but I came back to say that, after reading through chapter 2 of the original version of this story, I think it would be good if you made it so the Bat Boys have a slightly less... murderous relationship than they do in the Batman comics. I don't mean have them getting along, just maybe make it so none of them have ever seriously tried to murder each other.

This seems interesting. I hope you continue this! It's a pity we're only going to get Danny's view and not any of the Bat family's view.

Nooo only two chapters. This is so good. The "'Master' Bruce?... 'Kinky.'" sequence really made me crack up. The writing just /flows/ so well, it's fantastic to read. And the attitude. Yes, the attitude.

I also kind of see this as more realistic than the approach taken in other stories. Orphanage, the resulting pessimism and snarkiness with life. I am really curious as to why Bruce decided to adopt Danny, though. I don't know why he decided on the other bat kids, but I half-suspect it's because a) tragic backstory and b) because Danny came from Amity Park and there are Interesting Things going on in Amity Park. So maybe something in that called to Bruce. Hmm.

I'm going to check out the previous version now. May you keep writing grandiosely and well.

MAN, I loved the way that you started this story in the first chapter! Danny's sass never fails to get a laugh, and it honestly makes sitting in this private school soooooo much more tolerable. Ugh. But yeah, that was great, I hate that woman as much as the rest of the kids, the talk of city lights was absolutely stunning, and I hate you for your writing style. Damn you. Why must you be so great? You're making me so jealous. Gosh dang it. My heart.

As for this chapter, HAHAHAHAHA! DANNY'S GETTING ADOPTED INTO THE CRAZY THAT IS THE WAYNES! OOOOOh, that poor soul. He's no idea that shit storm about to take place in his life. Perfect. Muhahahaha!

I love Alfred. No shits given today. Not for Danny's chitchat, not for the lady's abusive words, and certainly not for his charges at home! Such a beautiful soul. May he never die.
