I'm all too familiar with heartbreak myself but like with things of this nature, it's not something you really get over as opposed to learning how to carry it. My only tips are to take it a day at a time, cry if you need to, and find someone you feel comfortable talking to about it if you're in need of a listening ear. I recently did the latter two with my mom because, well, five years since my 12-year relationship ended and I still have my good and bad days. I got low again and Mom offered to listen. So I went over after a shift at work, we sat outside (kept social distance), and she listened as I talked about how much I was struggling. It did help, even though I couldn't get a hug because of the whole virus thing, because then I wasn't bottling it up. Hope things turn around and it sucks about your keyboard. You should probably save for a new one. |
