Ugh... just ugh... your story is just ugh. Can the MC switch to Arias perspective, your SI's are boring and stupid. They were good at the start but now they are basically wasting their own time escorting the dragonborn for no reason CAN THEY LITERALLY STOP BEING SUCH PUSSIES AND ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING, THEY'RE USELESS PIECES OF SHEEP SHIT, DO SOMETHING WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE! THEY ARE BOST DUMBASSES WITH THEIR PERKS ANY OTHER HUMAN IS BETTER THAN THE SCATTERBRAIN ARROGANT PRICK ASH AND THE GOODY DUMB PUSSY THAT IS JAKE.

I like the way this story works, I just wished the mechanics were ironed out better, like Ash created a sword that took the full blast of dragon fire, it shattered but everyone was fine behind the shield it made even though it was only made for arrows, if his sword could do that then Jake should basically be an absolut tank of a sword saint right now with his specialist tree. I also feel like with all their perks it's a waste of time cos you marysued the dragonborn to be able to do basically anything, it's just a matter of time until she makes it to thwor skill trees and makes them obsolete besides their esoteric abilities like Ash's second major perk. Honestly, the two SI's are basically worthless in the party, the dragonborn doesn't need them and they don't even use their meta knowledge that well, especially Jake, he should be a sword saint with 8x damage to everything, even a knick from his sword can cut a bitch but no, he's basically support, his absolute mammoth of HP is also useless. SI's should just leave the dragonborn and do some storyline quests that they can exploit, right now they are just useless sheep following the bandwagon while the dragonborn does most of the stuff. You made the dragonborn unbalanced compared to the story, even wish fulfillment marysues have a way to be marysues, you just said dragonborn was talented and somehow went from having some experience with a sword in helgen to able to throw sword behind her back at ambushes and then add all the other classes and magic she somehow has.

Your story is like a crackfic trying too hard to be a normal story, it just comes off as annoying and all over the place

You really do an impressive job of keeping your heroes grounded. Even though the siege of Whiterun was a loss, they manage to land on their feet and rebuild in Riften thanks to Ash's superb crafting magic skill-set.

Hoo-boy Brynjolf you done fucked up in all ways a skilled thief can fuck up. I had to crack a smile that he would use a pleading "Wait!" to try and stall. My favorite line in reply to that comes from the fantasy novel "Before They Are Hanged" in which one of the heroes has someone dead to rights and the pathetic fool cries "Wait!" and the hero just huffs out an amused laugh and says back "For what?" before immediately cutting them down. That's what I always thought in my head. Wait? Fuck you and die you fuck! Nobody hurts the little sisters and gets away with it.

On that note I hope Ash makes a piece of work out of Bryn. I don't care how much of a name he is in the guild. His number is up.

Good on Ash able to tangle with one of the perhaps most dangerous people in Skyrim. At least one of the most notable top 50. Without going in to those 'Cream of the Crop' that pushed Jake to his limits during the siege.

The surprise Alduin interrupt to force a change of scenery is nice from a story perspective, as Ash was getting a little bit too settled in Whiterun and becoming somewhat stagnant. Being forced to adapt to the much harsher life of Riften (even temporarily) should be interesting.
